Black Ice Shaping

Not sure if this is in the right spot, didn't really see a place for it. I am just curious if there are plans to revitalize Black Ice Shaping adding levels and modifications to other weapons and such through it. I personally think it would be nice to see elementally inflused Elemental artifact weapons (like the earth set) changing its bonus and stats putting it more on part with newer weapons, perhaps even adding a new crafting material that has to be gathered and perhaps another step involved in the process.

I just hate how blackice has sorta fallen to the wayside. Other than that, love most of the new changes!

I'd like to see overload enchant recipes that retain a reason to unlock Black Ice Shaping 4 and 5.

Vonin Blood can be used in black ice shaping if they wanted to, they could even do cross over recipe's and require both to keep both currencies alive and kicking.

I could see a cross campaign recipe set that would allow for better refinement pieces to replace the Greater Everfrost resistance ones for pants and shirt, that utilize both Black Ice and vBlood. Could increase the Everfrost % or and a stat line (inline with the other refinement kits and that add to iLvl).
Or add a Black Ice + vBlood Everfrost resist Overload Ench.
It's such a shame that an important piece of one campaign is not integrated into other campaigns that could interact with it so easily. Why not added levels that allow for infusing something extra into the relic armor, like the boost dragonflight armor could get?
This way the people that invested in it can continue to use that investment, and there may be a reason for newer players to start investing in it now, instead of it languishing at the bottom of the profession tasks...

I suggested on the preview forum the possibility of 'Elementalising' the new gear via the Black Ice profession. They basically said 'no'.

I guess they feel there is no more market for ice picks, therefore not of interest. The trowel market is about over now....

Black Ice Profession 5 is great for creating Elemental Dragon Flight Gear. Which is great for those of us on console and don't want to farm Voninblood so we can keep the Relic Gear powered

Making the new gear Elemental so it doesn't require empowering with Voninblood constantly....I'd vote for that. To be fair I'd vote for nearly anything that takes away the need for Voninblood farming.

How about black ice shaping higher professionals allow players to improve overloads to R12 and at R10 and up there is no timer making them much more valuable and R10 and up get an IL of 20 at 10, 25 at 11 and 30 are R12.

Would be nice if crafting overload enchants with just black ice was enough, rather than having to farm heroics.

I think there is one of these, halves the use of the timer or something. Will double check the pot I saw in my inventory that I havent the relic gear to use it with yet.

It's a drop from FBI which halves vblod drain fro 1hr, with an 18hr cooldown. You can have multiples in your inventory and they have separate cooldowns.

I got two of these on both my CW and DC and yet I have never seen any gear drop from any run and I have ran both characters through the content now quite a few times. Yet others players I ran with got some gear in their first attempt through.

I HATE RANDOM DROPS...I like gear being at a vendor it is much easier to plan a build around vendor gear vs. the gear that drops and is random.
