Cambist Gauntlet

I just looted a pair of these from Lostmauth. I like the stats especially the armor pen. However the gold drain is great.... do we know exactly how much extra damage it gives? Are they worth it with the gold drain?

Curious CW.

Do they proc the extra damage even if you do not have any coin on you?

I have heared differently. Never tested them myself, tho. Anyways they will keep consuming your gold as soon as you get enough to trigger them, so not really worth it imo. But if you can handle the hassle of pulling out the bank and withdraw every time you gonna spend some gold, sure

I just did some digging, and from what I read, you do have to have coin on you to proc the extra damage. @beckylunatic might know more. Sorry if I mislead you, as I do not have them and quite frankly should not have commented based on my poor memory (age happens) of a past post.

I believe those that were banking their gold were wearing the guntlets for the stats and ignoring the loss of the damage proc.

It was mentioned that each proc does 750 damage at a cost of 3.56 silver per proc.

    That's handy to know

I have them on HR and TR , the missing gold hasn't really ever been that noticeable.. probably a little more noticeable on TR

That is handy to know and almost worth it on boss fights. The stats alone make this gauntlet attractive. Mainly the armor pen. Granted I am a returning Founder which has been gone for a while and the game I left is NOT the same game I came back to.

Hell I still use the Black Dragon Ioun Stone for my companion to show you how out of touch I am.

Thanks for the information it is appreciated.

The last info I had heard about them was apparently outdated as well, so I have nothing to add to what @niadan said.
