Unable to sell unidentified items

Only unidentified items fail to sell. The usual 'this will sell for less' prompt displays, followed by the same prompt with a 'do not show this again' checkbox, which i am unable to 'check'. After repeatedly pressing X, the item remains. Upon further presses i noticed a climb in copper. In the buy back page was a series of lockboxes that were stacked in my first inventory slot. After checking sell prices on auction for stack of refinement stones, through my consignment, the unidentified item tried to sell those instead of the lockboxes. The stones are in my fourth bag and not in the first slot.

If you try to sell an unidentified item, it gives the usual this item is not identified you will get less money. Then it gives you a second confirmation about selling a rare item or something like that. Then it will give you a screen showing some random item in your inventory (I got stability stones) with a quantity slider, and if you hit X it errors out.

This is the easiest way to get a bunch of green junk equipment out of your inventory without a ton of button presses, especially if you're opening quartermasters, it's a real hassle that it's not working.

To reproduce try to sell green unidentified equipment to a vendor.

Ever since the new update that happened the other day I'm no longer able to sell any unifentified items to any one. I'm not sure if this was intended or a bug in the system

Well actually I get a different item all together it looks like a treasure item which I don't have and once I finish the selling process the unidentified is still there

I've been having that too. Sell a treasure, then try the unidentified item, system tries to sell the treasure i already sold.

Fix for issue has been found and we are working on releasing it as quickly as possible.

Same issue here. Can't sell unidentified or anything on a loadout. Pretty much anything that prompts a dialog box when I try to sell it is still there. OR if I've sold something previously (say portable alters for example) when I try to sell the unidentified item I get the first dialog box saying it sells for less (press x) then second dialog box saying same but click to not get the message again and unable to select on that option. Press X again and it will being up a box asking how many of the X items(previous items ive sold or bought like portable alters) I want to selll. I have to buy or sell a different item that doesn't prompt how many in order to sell anything else.

Mine is a touch different. I replaced head gear with a new item, and the old item is part of a loadout. I try to sell it, and it pops the message saying it's part of a loadout, blah, blah, do you wanna sell? Saying yes makes the dialogue jump to another thread - "How many silver platters do you wish to sell?" Something like that.

Put this here due to the similarity with fizgigtiznalkie's description.

I have found that if you equip an item and the old item is part of s loadout, it does the same thing when you try to sell the old item.

Just discovered that on some of my mule characters (all are at 70- I originally thought this might be a below 70 bug) I cannot sell unidentified items. It does seem to be my later made characters (on my list it's the bottom ones) but no issues on my oldest characters no matter whether they get use or not.

I’m having the same issue. I have to identify everything prior to selling it. I was stupid and used up all of my identification Scrolls thinking it was temporary. Now I have over 50 unifentified items that are usable by me. Makes venturing out pretty hard...
