And they said it was around five percent. 25 - 30% is just plain unreasonable. And it shouldn't matter if a different game had a different loot table.
Just because you complete a dungeon does not entitle you to getting what you want. I have never understood why people think that are entitled to things simply because they have to put effort into something.
Thats the point...232 runs is....effort. 4 runs...no effort. You missed how I recommended to increase your RNG. A long effort filled quest that relates to your particular God. Some people do 1000 and no drop. Thats hamster groundhog day. RNG is HAMSTER. There has to be a middle ground.
Guess if I had to break it down as a recommendation
1. Lockboxes 5% ( I believe it is lower for legendary) 2. Dungeon Chests 5% Legendary 3. Weekly only: 1 x RNG token quest bound to character from your God. Different cutscene. Takes around 30 min. Worth 10% RNG upgrade. Call it a Gift of Chance (character bound). 4. Must be used before another one can drop to inventory the next week (cant stack)
Weekly wouldnt break any balance. Effort is actually increased with additional side quest.
lol I got a brigidine but can't use it need a psion...
Wish I could trade you!
But seriously those skirmishes are horrid I have 2056 runs in 1230 are gold in edemo and demo and have yet to get +5 brutality ring
I actually don't even need it since they changed companions to not work with em and I have storm kings rings but it is the principle now and I will run till my fingers are bloody stumps from pressing hot keys till I get my GD ring!
Just wait until you start running Illusionist's Gambit trying to get one of a million configurations for your companion gear. Sometimes I wonder if the developers actually play this game. The grind is real.
For some reason though the kill all style of gambit is so much more satisfying then the "run the hulk into the door" format. That door hamster wore me out.
I do like this new mod once you understand what to do. I didnt feel that way in the ice zones.
@evilsquirrel03 Already been there I got bags of companion gear that's worthless from gambit. I was lucky enough to get loyal avenger and adorable bites gear so I stay clear of gambit unless I need some wool... I have no intention of chasing a new unicorn

Got a similar issue with the Bloodstained Shirt, it just won't drop for me. It drops for my party though, to such an extend that my guildies are saying that if you want a Bloodstained shirt join his Gray Wolf Den Farm...
3???? Dear Lord....Devs is there any rituals I can do???? Self-flogging, Spoon Dance, Eating Cave Spiders?
I cant run anymore...it feels like Ground Hog day in there
You have to sacrifice your firstborn to RNGesus. Only then will you get the loot you desire. And only if RNGesus is having a good day.
RNGeezus does not love us, he just says that to get in our pants. after at least 200 runs each, I dropped deepknight's & lifespinner back to back. it was tough deciding which to send to an alt. If they were character bound, I think I would have had to find a corner for a bit of a cry 0,o
I wonder if there's some way they could do an "all or nothing" option? So before entering you tick the item you would like to get, and the chance for that item increases to a more realistic chance... BUT if you don't get it, then you get nothing. Only talking about the rings, and not the AD or other drops, they'd be as usual.
You'd still probably be looking at quite a few runs to get what you want, but substantially less than 200+ with only salvage.
