Coffer of Celestial Enchantments (Coal Ward)

Hey all,

Directly to the subject,

I usually do invoke each char I own the days I'm really bored, and when they all can get a celestial box, I gather them together and open them.

The drop rate of Coalescent Ward was 3%ish before mod 10, then it became something around 5%, and now I opened 64 of Coffer of Celestial Enchantments. ---------> 0 Coal Ward.

Thanks for ninja nerf to the only thing we don't complain.

    That sounds completely within probability, including the good run that you chose to interpret as a bump in drop rates rather than being blessed by RNGesus.

    1) That never happened to me before.
    2) I seconded that by asking other people that does the same, and they told me they were having real dips in drops too.
    3) That is not within the probability even in this stupidly odd RNG game.

    3% does not mean you are assured of getting 3 wards in 100 boxes, or 2 in your sample of 64. You seem to be treating it that way.

    It means things like I can open a batch of 100 boxes and pull nothing but disappointment - and pres wards at a very consistent rate of around 1 in 3 - and then my next batch might bless me with 7 coalescent wards.

    I open them in batches because then I only have to deal with the contents sporadically. Pile all the things.

    Well, I know how the math works, and how probability can be a HAMSTER, and I never said that opening in batch is giving better drop rates. It only takes less time like becky says and gives u more of an opinion about drop rates.
    Besides I don't calculate the drop rates by opening them in actual servers. I go in to preview with lots of them copied, and then try to figure out what happens, and I did it for months.

    Long story short, again, it NEVER happened before, and certainly the game won't give me any better drops in next batch, this is neverwinter we are talking about, not pure mathematics, please keep that in mind.

    Finally, please go ahead and check what's the deal with the EXACT same box " Coffer of Celestial Enchants", and then defend the drop rates with mathematics. Thanks in advance.

    Got 3 after opening less than 50. In next batch i got only one after opening 80+. RNG :/

    Ehh, I normally get them at around the 7-10% rate. Last 2xRP I opened 148 and got 1. RNG gives and RNG takes away.

    I usually get one when I need it.

    I guess not enough data to suspect.

    For example, I got 4 30K raw AD (45K each if factor in AD bonus) XP oveflow award in a row. One toon, open all 4 at the same time in an isolated instance. I opened about 24 XP oveflow awards and got 9 30K raw AD among toons in 2xenchantment. I would not say they raised the drop rate of 30K raw AD reward.

    I have not noticed any changes here. My running average is 4 per 100. I ALWAYS open 100-150 at a time and have never pulled less than 3 from 100 boxes. One area RNG seems to like me!

    i got 8 coals in 3 years and half with 7 chars.... i think you should just accept rng.

    OK. First of all, u guys should understand the fact that I own 51 characters, and I created them JUST to invoke, so I could get coalescent wards from them. I am doing this for more than a year, and I NEVER ended up without a coalescent ward before. In fact, I usually open in batches of 50ish, and this time it was 64 and 0 coal wards.

    Secondly, u need to read the posts and give feedback about the " Coffer of Celestial Enchantments" box. This thread doesn't include any interrogation of bug about the other 2 boxes. Just " Coffer of Celestial Enchantments". So, please do not comment like " I opened 100 and got 5." because I don't know what box u have opened.

    Dude, like I said in the thread before, I'm not new to the probability, I only search a bug or ninja nerf to the " COFFER OF CELESTIAL ENCHANTMENTS" box which has nothing to do with overflow exp rewards.

    in monday i open 30 coffer and i get 3 coal :D i open every time 30 coffer and i get 2 or 3 coal.
