BUFF Paladin Burning Light so damage/benefits are worthy of the class.

It bad enough we have Bane, Vow of Emity, and then Circle of Power all of which are very similar types of Encounter's; yet after two serious NERFS to Devine Justice & then Devine Protector it be NICE if Paladin's were rounded out a bit for ONE encounter to get more damage / benefits.

▪ Burning Light should be BUFFED so it's not that first useless power you get then rarely use past level 20.

I'd think that be the least they could do for Paladin's aside from making Vow of Emity a direct damage dealing offensive single target power. :/

Again...Another one (I think) that belongs the class forums along with your discussion on Vow and Bane. Also, its not that useless strathkin, both are meant to assist the paladin with supporting the party. Bane for target DR debuff and party damage buffs and Vow for personal damage buff/threat gen for prot pallies and party heals for Devo pallies. Remember, we are a support class, not (at least not directly) a DPS class. If you personally want more dps, there are several other options available to you.

Are you actually serious? As an Oath of Protection Pally... Burning light does a TON of damage in combination with Aura of Courage last I checked. Burning Light has 9 ticks total, which means that you are getting 9 procs of Aura of Courage, on top of the base damage, on top of anything that procs off the first hit. This skill hasn't left my bar, in any run, ever. It does so much damage, I decide Bane over Binding Oath, before I decide whether or not this leaves my bar. TBH I would call Burning light the best DPS skill given to paladins, being only topped by our daily Divine Judgement

I don't know what IL you are at, but at 3k IL Burning Light does a RIDICULOUS amount of damage in an AoE as a DoT, destroying pretty much anything it touches in a non dungeon run. And in dungeon runs, it does 40%+ of my personal damage through the AoC procs on Burning light alone, and I'm not talking ToS here, I'm talking CN etc...

I also took a look at your other thread, I am curious how long you have been playing paladin, it doesn't seem to be a long time given your perceptions on things. Irregardless of your choice of devo/prot Burning Light should be doing insane amounts of damage through AoC procs, pretty much period. The only time you should think about unslotting this is when you are in a boss fight and need something else for better group DPS, like Bane+BO+Templars as an example...

Just TRYING to draw people's attention to a 'little' know or often not ever used power on most Paladin's. It works well with Aura of Courage : provided that you fully charge Burn Light by HOLDING Q/E/R for a longer cast time.

    As for the other POST:

I do BELIEVE they should rework Bane/Vow. Those two in combination with Circle of Power none do any damage which really should be a class not an encounter power. :)
