Illusionist’s Gambit Skirmish

Here is my feedback for the new skirmish.

The skirmish, besides having changed graphics and minor mechanics in every phase, it is extremily repetitive, the 3 phases are just more of the same thing, which is just mobs spawn and you go to kill then... Added to that, its a long skirmish i would say 20 minutes... So 20 minutes of the same thing, in the same space, only with changes in the background??? Man, this skirmish is extremly boring!!!

Anyway i liked mechanics like the reflect damage and random mobs getting stronger...

Also i would also suggest that mobs get stronger every phase.

Now about the drops a topic which just make me give up on companion gear on this skirmish...
For me they sounds like the same rate of demongorgon when the drops where extremily low... But at least you can do Demongorgon in 7 minutes and get drops from the trial end and from the chest...
My best time in the new skirmish with a team of 3.8k+ was 15 minutes, so.... To solve this problem i have a simple solution which would be make sure that the drop of this skirmish is at least 4 times better than the actual rates at Demongorgon...

But not even increasing the drops by 4x would solve some issues with the drops, another great problem with then is that there are so many types of equips and so many variation of stats that even when you drop a +4 gear its probaly going to be something you are not going to use... For this problem i have 3 possible solutions:
- Allow us to choose which kind of gear/stats we wold like to receive.
- Remove the salvage gear (+1, +2, +3, +5) and let drop only +4 gear beign randon equips and stats.
- Make some kind of trade vendor so when we get the wrong gear we can go there and trade for the one we want.
- Make all +4 gear tradeable, this way we can sell what we dont need and buy from others the gear we need

Now, a problen with the companion gear itself... What is that overload sloat in a +5 companion gear???? Some kind of joke??? Please remove this overload slot ASAP and replace it whit a offensive or deffensive slot instead, otherwise the +5 gear will be just salvage and everyone will look for the +4 gear, just as how its already happening for those that don't have gave up trying to drop anything in the new skirmish...

And please, some ppl like me fell like having only the skirmish to farm companion gear would be boring as hell!!! So i ask you devs to put the Companion gear to drop also on Spell Plague, at least there, even if the dungeon takes something like 1 hour i wont be doying the same thing over that hour and i will be much more happier farming the dungeon than the repetitive skirmsh...

    I can't say I found the skirmish enjoyable at all, but I have heard a lot of people praising the drops. I've seen a few +5 items being linked, so they are dropping. Many people are farming it for companion drops. I think you need to give this more than half a day of testing before making judgements

    The random effects are silly - random powers disabled....how is that fun? Able to jump really high......why?

    Anyways, I'll probably run a few more times, but for a new skirmish in a new mod, the creativity level on this was basically a 1 on a scale of 0-10.

    Well) after i did it 5-8 times, i found this skirmish as most annoying from all. Even more annoying than POM when that stupid "aura of madness" (or whatever it is called) is on. Boring and annoing. 3 zerg waves and then you MUST talk to that master of sewage and sewerage. OMFG if I decide not continue the fight, I will just click "abandon inst" at any moment, that's all, will not wait to talk to that clown.
    Pets gear is one more OMFG. Can someone explain how this +5 trash
    imgur.com/a/zhyag can be comparable to old pets gear from gateway? Overload slot????? same trash drop at any stronghold. lol +4 is better bc of two enchant slots.
    So what we have in the dry residue? Trash rewards and boring, repetitive fight.

    I dunno if u test this but will blackice overload enchant increase the companion stat? If so i think its still good.

    Love getting gold and walking away with green HAMSTER companion gear worth 1100 RAD and moar +1 rings I cant use

    They should dump everything but the +4s and just make them blue if they're really worried about the salvage value.

    Even that would put us at looking at 48 different items dropping and we all only want around five of them.

    All the Underdark content collectively has 110 different rings (i.e. +1-5 and 22 different types), whereas Illusionist's Gambit has 240 different items.

    Even demogorgon only has 35 different rings. I have no idea what they were thinking when they decided to throw this many items in one skirmish.

    AGREED.. too much worthless variation, anything below +4.. is just direct salvage.

    they overthink themselves.. what a waste of coders time.

    Illusionist’s Gambit Skirmish is by far worst skirmish ever..first time when i played and got that green +1 i destroyed is second one..wth is that..and what is about that questions whit do you want to continue play next round did the ywant to copy warframe survival game mod..why is the question?I mean in warframe you use a relicor in nw could be a key before each stage but Illusionist’s Gambit doesnt reward nothing after each stage and for a "master" skirmish is very easy also what is about gold tier seems more like trash tier.pls rename your dungeons and skirmishes ..there is no gold tier rewards and is nothing epic or master in this game..just trash and could say copper tier...

    Make the skirmish shorter, doable in 10 mins for average teams. Remove +1 and +2 gear. Remove that voting part between each phase to save time.

    Funniest bit is the "enemies randomly explode" and "enemies randomly reflect damage" in the last 2 runs I did I kept one-shotting myself.
    No idea what my toon is now.

    I agree with that but I will aslo add that they remove the annoying pointless reflect damage effect and that dumb mini-game that you've gotta do if you wanna go back to the fight after dying. This skirmish is already enough boring, repetitive and long, since we have to grind it many many times, at least make it half-doable.

    I do like that is is very different from any other skirmish in the game, though I am not sure how the illusionist fits into the rest of the Mod's storyline.

    He is also apparently a survivor from the Many-Starred Cloak but is less bent on world domination and more just plain bent.

    Tried it once, left before the end. Something about being stuck in an enclosed area with waves of mobs spawning over and over. Plus I felt intimidated by those giants sitting on the sidelines watching us. Like...they were manipulating us!
