Asking should get us somewhere considering it's available in the zen market on the other 2 platforms. The collections even says zen market for it. The problem I have is the people trying to control the market on these by inflating the price 500%. They were below 2m AD this weekend and now the lowest is around 7m? Lol!
They simply just need to add it to the zen market, no reason it should be available to PC and PS4 players but not Xbox players.
@nitocris83 Is there any chance you could ask about the wild hunt rider not being available in Xbox zen market? 7 million AD for a green companion that is available in the zen market on the other platforms isn't really fair. Thank you.

Thats how it was from the Will-O'-Wisp, now it can be found within any dungeon/skirmish/raid(not proven if they drop in leveling yet), yet was put on PS4 at launch, now there's a way to get it on Xbox just like the Wild Hunt Rider, so they most likely have no plans on adding to the Zen store for the time being, or we would of had quite a few other items that also are not present.
Because we don't. There are often discrepancies between platforms, where there are some things on sale in the zen market for XB that aren't on PC or PS4. Sooner or later they switch, and we may have WHR on our zen market and it might drop from the others.
Having a discrepancy between what can be bought, and what can be earned is what stops the game being pay to win. Sometimes the stuff we want is hard to get. That's part of an MMO. It's not a sign that the devs hate you. If they were as mercenary as people say, everything would be on sale for zen, and to hell with playing the game for fun. But it's not like that. There's stuff I'd like, and would be willing to dump cash for. But that's not how it works.
It's weird how players from all three platforms feel that they are treated the worst... can't all be right, but they can all be wrong when you realise that in fact all three are treated as important parts of the business model.
I don't think we get treated differently for the most part. When it comes to bugs and stuff like that, it appears the console versions get overlooked. The devs really only reply in the preview section.
As for the WHR, they have nothing to lose by putting in the zen market. Potentially more $$$.
@nightranger7477 PS4 had some major issues affecting game play after SOMI launched so the missing AC was patch at that time. Have a little patience, the crit severity problem is clearly the focus right now.

That's the point though... On one hand we get a torrent of posts about how Cryptic/PWE "only think about the money" and then we get the ones asking them to sell more stuff and that if they do they'll make more money.
They're damned if they do, and damned if they don't.
The reason these things get dropped periodically is far more likely to do with balance and to slow down a character class from becoming a single generic build. If every HR could get their hands on a WHR companion... most probably would. If a DC is a solo character I imagine they'd quite like one too...
Contrary to popular thinking, the long term viability of the game, (and, just in case anyone needs this explaining, therefore the financial stability of the project) the game needs to be balanced both in terms of the in game economics AND the game itself. They will be constantly monitoring trends that cause imbalance, and tweaking stuff to try and keep all their plates spinning.
The WHRs are obviously dropping with more regularity since the OP as you can now pick one up for under 3 million. Expect further drops as more are found by people who don't need them.
