failed to connect to login server, everytime i switch toons

This has been happening a lot after a patch or update, when i go to switch toons to invoke or anything... I get disconnected from the login server, and it takes several tries to get logged back in. I tried the Alt + f5 to switch but it still fails, over and over. I have an up to date machine using windows 10, I have force verified and restarted, seems to me that it is something on your end? It is very tedious, many days after an update it seems to smooth out and not happen quite as much. I have seem many people talk of this very issue.

It happens so much, I usually tab out and kill the client and relaunch, because it takes such a long time for the game to finally decide it can't find the server and finish logging me out.

It's really annoying. And seems to be affecting many players, even across platforms.

Same here. I don't tab out though. I just Alt-F4 and then re-launch.

I heard in game to try unchecking the "on demand patch" option for the client, then something about a command prompt... There was a huge patch once I reloaded the client without on demand patch. Earlier I was still having issues switching toons to invoke, and now I logged in and switched to all toons for the last invoke and it went smoothly.

i am constantly being kicked off the game and now launcher saying connecting to account server timed out

WORST MMO I have ever played as far as connection issues go. Always getting DC'ed on changing characters!
