IN POM. I rather have that IL1800 play than how last time I got in and a IL 2k was in there with us just to freeload and watch us kill those demons. While we were in, that person was just standing there until he/she got killed and stood outside the whole entire time. Voted him/her out because that's wasting everyone who is fightings time especially when u lose a person it takes longer than normal for the kills even though I'm IL2.4-2.5 gwf it still takes awhile just to kill the demons. Why even queue if you're not gonna play? Anyways I ended up leaving instead since those other two dumb HAMSTER wouldn't vote that guy out too while the other guy was with me to vote him out because he also said that the afk person was also in his queue before doing the same thing.
I don't think it's afk. If he's standing there until he/she dead and stood outside, it's lag. I have a few of my own cases that lag stops me from moving, attacking etc. Only thing that doesn't lag is chat channels.
It's basically you're there, no disconnection whatsoever, but you can't move and you see everyone and mobs rubberband each other until everything loads to current time. And you can't do everyone a favor and drop yourself out either.
No it really is afk. they call it afk pom because for the most part you can't get better than bronze if you just stand there the whole time until the boss then kill the boss you still get bronze. no one has to be fighting. it's super bad form to do it when everyone isn't in agreement but no one has to fight. it really is a waste of time to put effort into this after you've hit bronze on each segment.
I thought it was ToDG that was hosed up and you couldn't get gold on - because of the spawn rate being too low. I thought PoM was fine? But I don't do skirmishes often so I could be wrong.
I've got gold in non bis groups many times in thrones. it's definitely POM that is hamstered.
Yea pom is ridiculous. I've gotten gold in the thrones skirmish plenty of times but no matter how much damage gets done in pom I've never seen silver in phase 1 or 2. To get gold on the balor we usually just let the timer reset but after phase 1 the toxic garbage on chat starts and people quit. Don't even let me get started with what I hear in demo. I'm afraid to even try running tiamat because their is double the people so there's probably so much that gets said in there. Surprisingly the groups I've done dungeons with lately had real polite people. Even if we wiped 3 or 4 times somebody will say something funny like I BELIEVE GUYS!!! I even found master demo no where near as bad as the things I've heard in demo. Master demo I guess everyone knows what to do and it's more beneficial to get gold in that so everyone is on their A game. Though my last run we had 2900 sw that didn't even get on the platform to start. She never once entered into the arena from phase 1 to phase 3. Just stayed still outside standing in the campfire. We missed gold on all 3 phases by the skin of my teeth. Needless to say she was trashed on the chat box but that was warranted and I've got no sympathy for that

In PoM over the weekend. We got High Silver, High Silver and Gold. We got Silver.
When I say high silver we are less than a third left before we hit gold and the gold ranking we got was full. Still got silver. But that run I got a crappy ring. I than jumped onto my tank and ran Malaborg and than jumped into PoM right after. That was my worst PoM run ever. I got highest damage out on my GF in pure tank mod with over 50% DR and no stats focused on damage, etc...
I out damaged all players in that run by more than 2x their combined damage (yeah the group was that bad).
We got Bronze, Bronze and Bronze. I don't know how we got Bronze in the first two areas as I was simply the only one really doing any damage. When Balor came out I simply focused on taking him down ASAP and rerun it in hopes of a better score to get some good gear. HOWEVER, that run resulted in me getting the Ring of Rising Precision +5. I checked the chest and was like OMG...I was going to complain but simply took my 145 ring and left. I gave it to my DC. It feels good having my first 145 ring but I rather not get a horrible ranking like I did, but if that is what it takes to get the better gear, yeah I will do that again next time. LOL...
got thinking this morning, 2nd phase of demo, what if only 1 tank went in so demo for sure targeted him and he focuses and hits yellow everytime, do you think the 1 tank could kill him?
He still targets people in the pool and I believe I have seen him target people beyond the barrier though I'm not 100% sure on that one.

i know he targets in the insanity well still but i have never seen him target anyone beyond barrier, i will try to get a test group together for this and see whats up, if he only targets once outside of barrier one solid tank could gold 2nd phase by self i believe
Does hitting the portals alone do enough damage to kill him in the time frame?
