I had been drifting away from Neverwinter, I played a decent amount of pvp, enough that I had about half my Lionsmane set, with about 2.4K IL. Really got excited about the new expansion, came back and played it a bit. Then decided I would go into a pvp match again.

Good grief. That brought it all back, the feeling of being farmed for someone else's entertainement. Hoping that I would get matched with the Overpowered group so we would win so I could get the seals of triumph, but having that only happen in 1 out of 10 matches. The thought then of having to play 100 matches to win 10 of them so I have enough seals of triumph to get a piece of the new pvp gear. Then the thought that there are other things to do in life.

Expansion brought me back, but seeing how things haven't changed in pvp at all really just killed my excitement.

    i have bad day yesterday too, 10 lost in a row (maybe my record streak)

    my suggestion - que for gauntlgrym battleground, its start popping sometimes in new module, its our best desire (as pugs) keep it alive, since premade cant control everything there.

    Will winning the gauntlgrym also giving 60 the seals of triumph?

    I did 2 Gauntls last night, most of the players were pugs but the bis guys still dictated the flow. It comes down to how many bis ppl are on each team.

    i get this as well.
    10:1 can happen.
    you need good guild with ArP boon to make kills in pvp now (DC healer not depend on ArP but you need def and power)
    when u pug you need luck, one good player in your team can make a diff.
    if you see one try to help him. you need 2 to cap a def nod.
    after that 1:1 can be possible (to survive afew min...)
    the new armors are better and easy to get.

    Some of the Warborn pieces are available through tradebars, and there is a +500 tenacity bonus for just wearing 2 of them. If you mix those with your Lionsmane, you'll have come a long way.

    Yes, so does winning SH PvP. I believe Black Ice Domination counts too. (edit - nope, doesn't)

    Remember it's only the first win of the day though. Also, don't forget to pick up quests from the Master of Coin! There's not one for GG PvP, but there is one for Siege and Dom.

    BID counted when the daily victory was an actual quest from the battlemaster, but does not give Triumph now.

    Oh, well, heck. Doesn't matter, I can't ever seem to find a BID anyway since there's no way to predict when one is up. I've managed to get in something like two in the last four months.

    BID in DV starts one hour after it ended in the instance you're on. One and a half hour for IWP, although some inconsistencies can occur, like if the instance becomes empty and temporarily closes down.

    Edit: clarification, the reset timer starts after second phase ends, so even though it's the first phase victory that rewards the conq shards, if you have the quest for them, it might be a good idea to stay until it's all over, if you're farming shards on multiple characters.

    Don't forget that even when you see one up, it's probably bugged anyway. Really wish they'd fix that since it's been that way for, what, at least four mods now?
