"Shatter your enemy's courage, slowing their movement speed and lowering their attack damage by 30% (120% at rank 4) even if they are immune to control effects. In addition, your power is temporarily increased by 25%".
The actual affect of this ability against an enemy is 12 seconds (14 seconds with Valindra's artifact set bonus) of crawling speed (full stop if using cloud of steel with artifact offhand that causes a slow in addition). It decreases their damage to nothing and makes you more powerful against them.
This ability is the single strongest CC in the game and whether or not you agree with it's use, or whether it should be this strong, or whether it's working as intended I don't think the name aptly describes it's effects.
When you Hamstring someone, you literally take away their ability to move, you decrease their ability to fight and you increase your strength against them by doing so. I think the name of the power should be changed to appropriately reflect how strong (OP) this ability is.
What do you guys think?

Why is it that you are not happy with this game and are always trying to change it to fit/suit your playstyles?
you can call it hamstring if it applies a bleed and does damage though.
This is a thinly veiled nerf thread anyway.
Secondarily, "Couragebreaker" (please rename to hamstring) debuffs your opponent by 120%!!! It gives you 25% more power, not necessarily 25% more damage (except in the case of something like SE which ignores DR anyway).
Thirdly, I am happy with this game and always trying to help, however I can, by offering feedback about the game and it's mechanics so I have no idea how you've jumped to this conclusion.
Thanks for your reply
The damage debuf ALWAYS applies, if you don't know this, you're not paying attention.
Hamstring doesn't necessarily have to have a bleed effect, for that matter any kind of damage would have a "bleed effect" if you mean you cut someone. Daggers, Swords, Twohanded swords, arrows, all these would cause "bleed damage" irl but that's not the primary reason you hamstring someone. You do it to get the exact effects we're talking about.
There was not one mention in my thread, until you mentioned it, of a nerf. There is no veil except the one that some TRs apparently imagine at any mention of their class, or abilities, exists. If you chose to assume there is a threat to your class at the mere mention of changing the name of an ability it sounds a bit on the paranoid theme to me.
Thanks for your opinion
You slice into your opponent’s legs, leaving him hobbled and stumbling about.
"Hamstring." nice title for a broken OP power, don't you think?
Dead🔪Thanks for your reply.
It's becoming the most annoying TR thing to fight against. =/ Moreso than HR trapper roots.

Thanks for all the fish.
But, for me, at the end of the day, I don't care what the title is. Many powers have trite names... So what?
There's so many deep flaws that need to be addressed.... trying to debate semantics at this level is sort of like trying to polish a HAMSTER.

I'll leave the **** polishing to the professionals, thanks for your reply.
However, I did not ask for a "nerf" here, so unless you don't like the name "Hamstring" for some particular reason you are posting nonsensical remarks that don't add to the thread.
Thanks for your intelligent reply.
This is posting stuff to cause a riot... even if you try to do it with pazazz
You know good and well what you are trying to do.
I suggested no nerf, no adjustment, no changes, if I did then feel free to show me the quote. The only "change" I suggest is to the title of the encounter.
If you call the responses to this thread a riot then I'm guessing your life seems a lot more exciting than it actually is.
Thanks for your reply
Thanks for your clever response.
The way you lay out what the powers do and how to maximize them and state that they cannot be avoided, plus on and on and posted in general instead of feedback (which you stated was the purpose of the thread) only leaves one to conclude that you want many people to see it and start to complain l... plus teach those that didn't know how to maximize the daily, how to troll people to increase the complaints...
Thanks for your insults...
The only person here who continuously talks about nerfing this ability is yourself. So, if you want it nerfed so badly, perhaps you should start a thread in the PVP section about what you don't like about this ability. As for me, I just want to have it renamed more aptly.
Thanks for your astute observation.
Thanks for your perceptive scrutiny.
