Cleric Free Feat Respec

in General Discussion (Xbox One)
I do not have any indication that its available to my DC. All my feats are pointed as they were. I had suspected that, once I logged on that toon, all the feats would be 0s and Id have to re-allocate them.

Any other DCs seeing the same or could point out what I am missing?

    You just get a free respec it didn't make everything you had 0. Use it if you want

    Well, the Feat respec option, on the feats window, grayed out when I dipped below the diamonds it would have normally required to use that option. This tells me I don't have it available for free.

    You got a full respect, not the feat respec as the patch notes says. So, the button on the powers window. All my clerics did after a reset.

    Ahh, so the patch notes are wrong. Odd, that never happens....

    yup, I used it on mine yesterday. it's not a shock pc people were talking about how it was a complete respec even though it said partial in the notes. I'm now a dps buff debuff

    How can some DC's be getting this and others not? I still have yet to get my free respec want to get off this haste now that it's almost worthless would rather be buff/debuff/heals

    Are you looking in the right place? I only ask because someone else was looking for a token like from the winterfest. You use the button at the bottom of the powers window.

    Same here. My free Respec is no where to be found. I've checked everywhere.

    Same, no free respec unless the free respec costs zen which is how it is listed right now.

    It was a full respec not just feats.

    I ended up using it to see if I'd like an Annointed Champion Righteous build. I played through a few dungeons and it just didn't feel right. Immediately switched back to Divine Oracle Righteous no regrets besides wasting 100k+ AD.

    I did the same. Was DO Righteous, switched to AC. I miss the hammer daily for soloing, but I did feel more solid. Everything else just seems OK. I haven't switched back yet, but seriously considering.

    AC definitely makes more sense if you want to just focus on buffing. Annointed Army is awesome while clearing trash through a dungeon on top of that you can feat Blessing of Battle to give everyone 10% of your power.

    As I said though not having Brand of the Sun really messes with how I play my Cleric and slowed my encounter usage. Sure I could eventually adjust but it's not worth it to me. Yeah I lose AA but I can keep Hallowed ground up very often with my DC sigil. And if I need to help team survivability I have foresight to help with damage reduction.

    Those of you that don't appear to have gotten the free respec, are you level 70?

    I think that might be the issue, as I have a level 63 fine, level 47 fine, level 18 oops,nope. Perhaps the characters below 30 who have not chosen a paragon path and would not be affected by the changes did not get the respec.

    It seems to be random if clerics got it or not. I did not on my lvl 70 cleric. Some guildies received it, some did not...

    I have used both paragons extensively, I like Brand of the sun, because you get divinity while moving. AC is a little more self tanky while DO has foresight that helps the whole team, I think in the current mod unless you stack deflect and use anointed armor the DO path is better over all. If I could get anointed army in DO that would be perfect.

    Thank you for the information. I have heard back from the developers, and they have informed me that the feat respec was automatic, and thus all feats were reset after the patch for all Paladins and Devoted Clerics. This is why you did not have an option to respec, and I apologize for the confusion. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

    Yeah, that wasn't true. Reply back or tell them they are wrong, there was no automatic reset.

    PS... hmmm what confusion lol i did not got the respec is simple, but developers told her i did, so im stuck on gift of haste cuz im not gonna pay for something everyone should get it for free. I'll keep saying i didn't received but i bet she gonna say i did cuz the developers said so.

    @strumslinger Hey strum - I have a DC and can confirm I had to click 'respec' to make it happen. The devs are just plain wrong on this as you can also see from other comments above.

    Nobody received a 'forced' respec. Also it was a full respec, not just feats so somebody at Cryptic has got it wrong.

    well seems i'm not getting a token to respec my cleric, chancellor knuckles now is ignoring me and been 4 days without answering me, great support we have.
