How to avoid SE and compete in premades

First things first turn off your music and crank up the volume SE should be the most recognizable sound in the game since its clearly the most devastating(it makes a swirly sound). You should always dodge when you hear this noise unless the other team has zero trs. You need an ambush ring so that it's more difficult for the other team to focus on you when all 10 ppl are fighting for 2. If your considered a weak link class one tr will courage break you and put you in a smoke bomb and the other one will have his FS ready to finish the job. This makes oghmas token very valuable for cw hrs dc pallys although dcs and pallets can usually get away with it if their hp is over 190k my dunk is maxed and I can hit for 186k without a buff from another player if I pop my mount power correctly. If theres a gf on the comp watch your back cause even non fs will hit for 145k which is why everyone but maybe a gf should be rocking hp boon. Sws and gwfs definitely need a dodge but until then i recommend running with a bubble at least one and a gf. Two bubbles a gfs sw and a gwf could be a vicious comp although the pallys would probably just get courage broken and we'd slam the sw/gwf on the end caps. Which is why having the wheel is essential for these classes because you need to be able to preemptively pop the temp hp. I also know a sw who's hp is extremely high and he's super vicious I've seen him tank 8 ppl in gg with that vicious lifesteal and only my super FS could kill him (when I'm able to pop my disk combat power before throwing down fs). You have to get on the Mic with your team obviously communication is essential you have no chance if even one of your guys is doing his own thing against a legit premade. Having an ambush ring is so essential to running premises it really can't be stressed enough. Before the ambush ppl were able to follow each other or basically hold hands the entire match it was incredibly lame which is why the ambush ring is actually the best thing they've done for sweaty premades. Now if your down a cap and struggling to get a kill you aren't completely sol. It's much easier to fake the other team out or make them lose track of how many ppl are fighting on the node and someone can sneak off. Before the ambush we would just pick someone to follow once were up a cap and if they can't get a kill gg. Now out rotating a team is much more viable especially with the mount speed boon(I rock mount speed when I'm playing with 2 support and potion when playing with one). Ppl don't like to train new talent for sweatys because it almost always translates to a loss when you finally get a good match which is why you have to accept advice/constructive criticism if your lucky enough to get this chance. Avoid getting ccd before the tr puts down his fs on rotation expect the fs and avoid getting ccd watch out for feint dunks even though I think they made it so that feint dunks does dmg now lol which means that it takes away fs a little unannounced nerf. Also there's this SUPER OP move that trs can do it works against everyone but I use it the most against hrs and since I'm posting this to the forums hopefully it'll be fixed but probably not for like 3 mods. Anyways it's simple you run up to whoever while your stealthed in your ambush ring smoke bomb cloak dunk gg (the smoke bomb will cc them and for some reason your dunk still counts as a fs!! the trick is to making it a bang bang thing if you wait to long between your smoke and going up for your dunk it won't count as fs). So now that I've given pc players even more reason to fear trs its time the weaker classes play more defensive stay in your ambush ring wait to avoid those smoke bombs and fs before putting down your rotation. Don't worry it should be observed eventually...

Not to be critical - paragraphs and spacing will probably get more replies to this. Just a thought.

SMoke bomb is area effect power is not a direct hit from tr maybe for that reason it doesnt count as first strike. IF the player never goes in the smoke why it should count as a strike for a tr?:)

Pop the HP buff from wheel the moment a FS buffed SE is incoming....how many msec do you think you got to get this done?
You hear a "swirrl"... You pop your wheel, wich tends to freeze player at his place.....dead
Btw. Not wearing a T Elven, a Hunter will deal with that warlock
one CC class and let' say a GF, GWF, CW will be sufficient to deal with that vicious lifesteal

Edit: Just realized he cannot be in any of the competetive high end pvp guilds because all of them has the ambush ring on a forbidden list ;)

hahaha yeah right... fighting them big guys everyday... getting HAMSTER I should say... a lot of them use Ambush+drains...
Even if their guilds forbid it.

You missed the "competetive high end pvp guilds" probably ;) there are not many and the ones left in the game enforce their rules as far as I know.

I agree with you and less and less people seem to be using them. This weekend though there has been a lot of people using rings and drains. I am guessing these guys are returning to the game. As I didn't recognize the names and I understand many are returning now that school is over or about to be in some places.

1)many reach 200kHP now, stacking HP is hard at those level. stacking deflect is overall better stat for PVP

2)the wheel artiact help as well, if i "feel" SE will arrive i use earrth = 200% temp hp for 10 sec. but its not a last minute item as the casting is long

3)debuff the TR can save ur life as well. vision ring help u to spot and hit.

Nope, I know exactly what guilds you are talking about and I can assure you that some of their members use drains (I am sure 100% of that) and saw a few using Ambush.
And even if their leaders forbid it, what would you like me to do ? whine to them because one of their members is using something allowed by the game ? :)

I've seen drains on EoA, MNE/DB, BL, FR, GB, etc...
I think that is the kind of "competitive high end pvp guilds" you are talking about, isn't it ?
And I fight them almost everyday, when I have the "luck" to meet a premade, hehehe

And they honestly didn't need that drains to kill me with one hand :)

And again, it's not all of them, but some of them.

    @sethan93

Only 1 of those guilds listed ( eoa ) actually have a no drain no ambush policy in their charter some with
consequences some not ..best to screenshot and send to their officer for clarification/ reprimand
My guild also has this policy

Nope there are at least a Dozen or more but less well known pvp / pve hybrid guilds
as for the other pvp guilds . The leader say not to use them ( depending on truce or mod) but then turn the blind eye on members with high contributions or standings.
P.S you usually know who the good guys are even in guilds that use drains / rings

I've seen many players from "top" pvp guilds using "forbidden" gear. Maybe they use "allowed" gear when facing another premade party, but i only use solo que so i don't know what gear they use when facing another premade.
