WHY can't we reclame our foundery cape, when we lose it?

so i have 2-3 foundery capes that i got, and if i lose them there is no way to reclaim them, how come?

now when lostmauth Exchange is coming, im gonna lose it if i turn my lostmauth in.

    I'm bringing this up with Andy. I agree that they need to be reclaimable.

    Oh, also, while you're at it - can you ask about Caturday capes too? I still have mine in the original wrapping on the two toons I had at the time because I didn't want to lose it or screw it up and never be able to get it back.

    It's one of the reasons they've occupied my bank slots. I'd probably use them if I could reclaim them after a gear upgrade.

    As long as they're thinking about reclaimable capes, hopefully they'll consider the Wings of Bahamut as reclaimable as well.

    That would actually add more reason to purchase the packs that include themed cloaks, (and other gear as well,) the same way account-wide mounts do. The ability to reclaim them adds value, rather than them being seen as "one and done."

    As far as I know, all the equipment from the packs are reclaimable as long as you've consumed the item as a transmute. I really wish they were all BoA instead of a mix of BoA/BoP (for transmuting account-bound gear), but that's not the topic.

    Nothing mentioned here is from packs. You're right, it's all reclaimable. Foundry capes, the pirate hat from crash the server day and the caturday cape (also the dwarven mask and a few other things) are not reclaimable. The hat WAS reclaimable for years, but it mysteriously vanished from the claims agent somewhere along the line.

    The point here is that all these things should be reclaimable via the claims agent without exception.

    Personally, I wish the Caturday cape (and title!) was an account unlock that was reclaimable. But just because I want it to be reclaimable, doesn't mean that the dev team is going to feel that way. Andy's going to be extremely busy today, and leaving for his vacation, so it might be next month before I can get any sort of feedback on this.
