Version Mismatch, Relog and Patch

Upon character switch, the game may randomly log you out with message like "version mismatch, exit game and patch".

I did exit from game, but no any pending patch were applied.

Also i started the game with full check option but the issue is still present.

I am also affected by this... and I know two other people affected.

And it actually just happened to me logging in... not switching characters.

Yeah, getting this as well. @strumslinger - can you report this one up? Switching toons and logging in is both causing it. Requires you to re-enter your password, then seems to work for a bit again.

Have the same issue.
Happens to me when switching toons.
If I try to log in from the then appearing login screen, I will get the same error again.

I am getting a message - version mismatch, exit the game and patch to play ... persistently ... is this a game glitch or some other issue, any ideas - never seen this before and patching doesnt seem to clear it

detail - login ok, access character ok, change character triggers the message, and exit and restart appears the only solution - not EVERY time though ...

This should go in the bug reports forums, and include more details about when and how the error occurs.

I'm getting it, too, though, and it appears to be an issue that was introduced a few patches ago but started giving this different message after the most recent one (before it was an error message about the login server).

Tends to appear once or twice when I'm going through and invoking each of my characters in turn.

i got the same, getting kicked to login - and working fine after relog.
Ofc tried to exit and patch, but there is no patch...

thanks for the confirmation that its not MY issue, I will add to the bug reports, but not very good at giving all the data sometimes needed ... hopefully this thread will bring it back into focus anyway

I had to exit the game and patch ~~three times~~ many times now, within half an hour. Happens when changing character.

I got it too. It happens when swiching characters. It probably happened 5 - 10 times while switching through my 52 characters. Looks like maybe it comes about the same time as "Retrieving character list" should blink for a split second.

Also having this issue. Not every time. I have a 70 of every class that I log into for invocation as well as slowly running up the boons and doing leadership. Got it one time switching between all the toons. Seems kinda a random bug, it is not happening every time.

Same issue here. Everything was fine prior to going to bed last night (about 10pm CDT). This appeared when I logged in this morning after the launcher already verified and patched. It's been appearing frequently as I switch between characters, logging me out in most cases.

This isn't the only new one either. If I use gateway and the game client at the same time I keep getting "You have logged in from another location" and the game client boots me...

This smells like another misguided attempt to battle bots.
It just started happening to me this morning.
I am trying to invoke and do my professions and every 2nd or 3rd character change get booted.
Please dial down the 'trigger' on whatever is causing this.

This looks like the replacement message (that is more confusing) of the "lost connection to login server" message. At the moment, I treat that as that and I do not need to exit the program and it looks like it behave just like the old "lost connection to login server" situation. I never got 2 "Vision mismatch" in a row.

Same issue here, I turned off On-Demand Patching and it Patched 4GB, did not fixed the problem.

~~Havent got any of this yet, but my client patch ends with .19 and the latest live patch is .18??? something to do with this??. Am i to expect same issues?~~

Seems the info on .19 patch is in the prewiev forum.

But anyways not yet encountered this, but trying to replicate.
