HR going into combat stance while standing idle.

I remember getting a similar bug on my GWF. I just bought the shadow demon companion, don't know if that's related but now my HR goes into a combat stance like a twitch every minute or so while standing around.

    I idled the shadow demon comp and the bug went away, just FYI

    My TR does the same thing since I added the Shadow Demon as my summoned companion

    Ohh, sounds like the old Fey Thistle bug with a new source. What happens is you can "deflect" pretty much anything, and a damage proc on deflection attempts to damage the source, making you behave as though you were in combat even though you're not.

    @terramak It would be nice if deflecting the NPCs breathing near you did not count as combat. Like, ever, not just band-aids on specific instances.

    Acknowledged and popped into the database. With the module release around the corner, it might get buried under higher-priority stuff, so I wouldn't count on a fast fix. Thanks a ton for the report.

    OMG! I am so glad to hear this isn't just me! The stance is honestly making me tense! I hope it gets fixed soon.

    I am a bit confused. Is this combat stance thing occurring because of changes to your active companion? I haven't changed mine in months, so that can't be the cause in my case.

    Anyone know of a fix for this?

    Carianne9, you mean you have the twitch but aren't using the shadow demon companion? The only other known issue causing the twitch that I am aware of is if you selected the fey thistle boon as Becky indicated. Not sure if they fixed that but I respecced and choose a different boon and it stopped

    No, no shadow demon for me. I did switch from my Ioun stone to my fawn, and it stopped happening. Very strange, if you ask me.

    I get this all the time, however don't have Fey Thistle. It's usually because your summoned Companion is in combat, therefore it flags you. I've bound the summon/desummon companion to a hot key so I can get out of combat quickly.

    Wow, i'm not alone! Have this bug as well since i bought the shadow demon. It just stops when i put the demon to an idle-slot. My char constantly twitching around and always looking like he has to pee is sooo annoying, meh. This companion was too expensive for me to cause such a side-effect.

    It's fixed in an upcoming build.
