Is GF burst damage appropriately balanced for pvp?

Guardian Fighter has very high base damage and they can easily self-buff their high damage by 300% to up to 800% (using Into the fray + knights challenge + multiple marks, etc). A best in slot offensive GF can 1rotate burst kill almost any best in slot player in the game.

    oh no, sophi died 2 times vs a GF and his kda is ruined, what a tragedy.. lets go to forums and make QQ nerf thread :smile:

    Knight challange lmao, yeah its a pretty darn high risk. ESCP against a SW, gaddam time your bargain.. This is getting out of control Sophi. Maybe every GF shall make a poll about nerfing TRs cus they imobilize us. Yeah GFs damage is a tad to much, but all this threads is just to much.

    Still its a TEAMGAME maybe a SW isnt suppost to toe to toe with a GF, and let a TR do it instead? This nerfing threads are getting silly and i am about to vote as prim soon, only cus of your obsesion with gFs...

    This is not just about PVP. Look at the ITF buffs in PVE, way too much.

    This is the PVP forum, and GWF as i think u are playing are TO much in PVE too. But lets stick to pvp here mate.

    It's not only his high Burst damage also Prones, the quick skill-Animations / comparing to gwf we are like snails it takes too long to land a hit but GF's are like "insta Hits" which is crazy,.there no room to react on following hits.

    This is pretty much it. A SW has pitiful tools when it comes to PvP.

    And again I will say it is not ITF that is the problem, it is Anvil of Doom. As soon as the opponent is below 40% its GG.

    Sure man, lets stay like now. Did you forget that you oneshot Stylin when he have 75% HP? He also used Courage Breaker on you.

    Typical reply from GF:

    Easy solution to ITF:
    -> Lower that movement speed, its pretty annoying.
    -> 25% of DR per rank 1 is now reduced to 12,5%/15%.(just flag for PvP what have for example Wilds Medicine).

    Yes GF's damage is kinda over the top, but at least Prim does not play like a lot of other sissy GF that uses HARD TARGET LOCK or some even with Ambush ring on top of that, and think they are good, Prim at lease play like a man :)

    Btw, Ambush ring and all types of Drains has been banned from Absolute :)

    In that case, for once, hats off to all Absolute members. NW PvP is probably gonna go belly-up soon anyways, but still, made the right choice, shown some class.

    YEs gf is the problem you think. at least gf need to land bull charge( dodge) anvil(dodge). WHEN the paladins will wake up and play a damage dealing build you will see when a feature yes a class feature increase the damage in high levels based on hp (aura of courage). good luck to avoid burning light encounter perma stun and the divine judgement on your head.

    i agree. after the introduction of the sigil of devoted-snail etc etc we lost skill in pvp. perma shockings-opressives-crescendo-hammer of fate-army and and and................ without perma crescendo gf need some skill to land the rotation.

    i will make another question before module 6 gf was able to buff 75% of his damage resistance you didnt notice that ? for the extra 25 % and the 20% on encounters boost you saw the problem? WEll suggestion anvil of doom double damage when target is below 25% instead 40%.

    GF + Hard Target Lock + Cowardice Ring = invincible in 1 vs 1 :D

    Auto HTBlock till your opponent's repelled and rooted (by Cowardice Ring), buff yourself while they are rooted and BANG 2 shot bye bye :D

    As expected I believe we need a buff....

    Look at GWF and Pallis

    And all the ranged fighters

    GF are not Powerhouses in PVP

    Well, I saw a GF hit a player for 625,000 HP anvil of doom in pvp last night. And he was about 15,000 power short of Maze-engine power maxed. It is a bit much, dont you think?

    I would recommend to round up the damage upwards to 1.000.000

    I saw sw for 1 sec drain all 150k hp from OP last night. It is a bit much, dont you think?

    What i think you dont know is follow: The more HP the enemy has as base hp and the less hp the enemy has the anvil number will be higher.

    For an example, a Bubbladin has 200K HP, he is laying on the floor and just procced soulforged IF the GF hit him with anvil at this state the numbers can be HUGH, but it dosnt matter if it says 800 000 dmg or 10 000 the result is the same.. Just stop to try so hard on nerfing a class so much in an already extremly broken game.
