Xbox One: Opening Mail causes game to crash

I posted this in the bug report forum, but haven't had any replies. Every time I open the mail on any of my characters the game crashes to the home screen. It doesn't matter if its from within the interface or from an actual mailbox. I tried uninstalling and the re-installing, but that didn't help. This sucks I can't use the auction house, advance my racial/class quest lines, communicate with the guild that I was trying to join, etc.. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue, or am I screwed?

    I play on xbox. Since the summer festival update opening mail in game crashes it. So tbe issue seems to be linked juat to my account. Any instance of opening mail, even clicking in the ui on a cometely brand new character crashes the game. Any ideas?

    You must be mistaking ARC Support for Game Support, or what you were reporting is a bug and you're mistaking why they sent you to the forum.

    If you need game support, click on the left box, not the right one: https://support.arcgames.com/app/home - Then click "Neverwinter (Xbox One)" in the list, then scroll to the bottom of that page and click on Support Center. To then make a ticket, click on Submit a Ticket and choose Neverwinter (XBOX) from the drop down. The link in my signature is a quick link to the Support Center to skip all that clicking.

    The only reasons they would tell you something like that is if it is something they either cannot give support for (like a game bug - meaning they want you to file a Bug Report instead) or if it is a Microsoft issue, in which you need to contact Microsoft's support.

    So the issue you're trying to report is the following?

    Alas, I can see why they cannot give you Support as this does indeed sound like a Game Bug. I'm moving this to the XBOX Bug Forum please and will forward this to the Devs. I can almost be positive in saying this is something that will require a game patch to fix, which further suggests why Support could not help you.

    thank you for the second update and moving this topic. I seem to be the only person experiencing this though so what is the likelihood that it will actually be addressed in any upcoming patches, versus issues that are affecting more of the community as a whole?

    No problem! Sorry, I'm not sure. I'm asking for this to be looked into to see if the Devs are even aware of this crash and if they are, if they know of a work-around for you. Alas, I cannot give an ETA on their response to my inquiry.

    receiving same issue on Xbox one. Spent $100+ on this game and developers have not fixed the issue.

    i now am faced with the same issue. i don't want to abandon this game, but there isn't much choice if i cant get my trade house items and other things.
