During dragon runs (players form large groups to defeat the five dragons one by one) in Well of Dragons, the sound is often disappearing suddenly and then only the background music is left playing. And you have to relaunch the game client to fix it.

This also happens during demonic HEs. But only in WoD.

I have submitted this bug a few times in the past year or more.

Sound disappear, some parts of the whole dragon disappear, part of the ground disappear, often your mount or others mount disappear. I remember those things even in module 5.
Plus atomic lag, impossibile to avoid red zones, teleporting, can't understand if i am casting spells or not (this actually happens in most parts of the game), hard to revive peoples.

This also happens during demonic HEs. But only in WoD.

It can happen on any large zerg, so it is most likely to occur with WoD dragons and demons, but I've seen it happen at Black Ice Beholder and Vilithrax. The majority of HEs and normal gameplay don't involve sufficient players to trigger it.

I suspect it's an interaction of specific powers, but it's a devil to figure out, for obvious reasons. I've noticed that it almost always happens to me on demonics when I am playing either of GF or CW, but I still don't have the data to know if that's coincidental. It almost always happens on dragons no matter what, but those groups are extremely likely to include people playing every possible class.

I attribute it to some kind of buffer overflow. The only way to get sound effects back from powers is to restart the client, and when I do I hear the ambient zone sound effects for a few seconds while the client is closing.

If you continue playing for long enough after the FX start to go, you will eventually lose all sound (voice, music, ambient).
