Got one yesterday. First run of a dread vault dungeon with a star metal gauntlet. Picking it up was a pain but figured out i had to move the left thumbstick up a few times to get it to highlight to it would give me a button to pick up.

Interesting. I was under the impression that pressing X was the only way to pick up without a visual button prompt. Good to know.

85 star metal gauntlets early after realease to help lvl boons and i got zero Eyes. The second time i opened the box after achieving mithral gauntlet status finally i got one Eye of the Lathander. Since then i been trying like crazy with no luck at all for another. Must have bought another 80 thayan antiquitys too. Its agrivating i have friends who say they have got 4, 5, 6. Without buying star gauntlets. Maybe it is bugged
Also i used to get greater marks about 1 out 3 or 4 days tops, now its been 2 this past month. Somethings been changed.
I opened up chest today and I couldn't take the eye of lathander out. Didn't show up in inventory either. Rather depressing to see it and not be able to pick it up.
I got one in 46 tries. I was lucky enough to read the forums before pursuing to know NOT to hit the A button to accept the item. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX for success.
Just remember to press the x button. When I saw the eye of lathander in the 2nd chest, the only option was to press b (close chest) . Instead of pressing b to close the chest, I just pressed x and the eye of lathander was in my inventory. Even though x is not visible, it's the button that I used to get the eye of lathander into my inventory.
Well it's been 3 weeks since I started this thread of trying everyday with multiple gauntlets and still no luck I did get lucky with quite a few greater marks though so not all bad. lol
I'm surprised to hear they didn't fix the chest bug in the last update, thought I read something in the patch notes, but maybe that was something else.

"X" you have to press X the only way to pick the artifact out of the chest. Pressing "A" does absolutely nothing and bye bye artifact. So open the chest one at a time, do not spam to fast and keep thumb on the X button. I was paranoid as well trying for mine and was glad I looked into EE complaints prior to our release on the PC side.
They need to fix this HAMSTER for real, SERIOUSLY no button prompt??? This is a vital piece of equipment that many desperately need.....

Ive only seen it once and i wasn't aware of this glitch. I was lucky enough to hit the right button out of chance i suppose because i now have it and since the last 2x refinement its now mythic. I tell you, its great to have in a dungeon.
