Content and Environment
Cragmire Crypts
  • Kallos Tam no longer rarely respawns after being defeated.
  • Adventurers no longer rarely respawn after being defeated.
General
  • A Double Guild Marks event is now scheduled to begin November 25.
  • Elemental Artifact Weapon quests now all gain progress when multiple are accepted at a time.
  • Players may now accept Masterwork Recipe quests while Elemental Artifact Weapon quests are in progress.
Items and Economy
Masterwork Recipes
  • Electrum, Samite, and Rosegold accessories created through Masterwork Recipes now require level 70 to equip.
  • Gladiator, Executioner, Medic, and Duelist armor created through Masterwork Recipes now require level 70 to equip.
General
  • Underdark Explorer Pack: The Stone of Health now binds to account when purchased with a 100% Off coupon.
  • The act of looking at Demonic Ichor in a treasure chest no longer causes it to count toward your weekly total.

  • Oathbound Paladin: Prism: This feat will no longer trigger from healing caused by Bond of Virtue or Heal over Time effects.

    Hooray for Prism fix!!! <3

    Is the Masterwork crafting even turn'd on. I can't get the Artisan or Master of Coin tell me anything about it. I've tried several toons with level 25 professions and still nothing. My SH has been level 20 for many months so maybe something has to be trigger'd from an earlier level. :/

    Glad to see the prism fix finally come in. We have been waiting for this for a long long time :)

    There should be a free respec for Paladins. This is a build destroyer. What powers would now proc Prism, as almost all heals are HoTs?

    Vow of Enmity will still make prism work

    20% Succed witch 4 purple tools on every component?! A then when succed u need use it for create another one witch 20% succed like 2-3 times?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME DEVOLOPERS?!

    I dont see dusk bonus being fixed. 1/1 doesnt heal for the right amount and 2/2 doesnt trigger when the toon goes in a party; player has to unequip and re equip one piece to make it work.

    Great change to prism although now I have to test it and update my build based on the results after just publishing a major update *sigh* no rest for the wicked.

    also, @terramak I have done a lot of testing of paladin features on both preview and live with regards to paladin feats, boons and skills and it so happens that prism is one of the feats I use, is it possible to get a respec token along with these changes because prism is a build defining feat.

    *edit after testing on preview this change does not resolve all of the major issues related to paladin and prism, further fixes will have to be made.

    I'm not sure the Masterwork stuff is activated on the Preview Server. They were trying to keep some of the stuff a secret so people didn't exploit the prices of stuff before it was made live.

    I would guess its going to be both a 2 xp and guild marks...if you are 70 2x xp is worthless(so those less than 70) ... 2x guild marks would be for those 60+. The problem with 2x guild marks is that about the only thing you can do is buy equip to salvage unless you have a uber guild who has their marketplace up to 5 and then can buy the dragonflight...they need to increase the max amount of them. right now the max amount of these is just too low..

    Thanks for the follow-ups and feedback, folks.

    Yep, 2x Guild Marks is in addition to the 2x Experience event; both will run at a time.

    Thanks for calling out the additional Prism issues, we'll look into it. We wanted to make a first-step change to alleviate some of the spammy behavior on Prism, so it's certainly plausible that there are still other ways to trigger rapid procs (e.g. TempLock heals). The main intent is to address the latency issues when it gets into serious proc-looping behavior, so if you find a way to get some bad looping going on, please let Strumslinger know or respond in one of our Patch Notes threads like this one.

    Regarding Masterwork Professions: I tweaked something on NeverwinterPreview that was controlling certain Preview-only shortcuts.
    Notes for that tweak:
    * On NeverwinterPreview, players may now receive the Dwarven King quest line and accept Masterwork Profession quests.
    * On NeverwinterPreview, players may no longer skip ahead to Mantol-Derith without completing the Dwarven King quest line.

    Will guilds without the Adventurer's Guild be able to purchase the (Adventuring Maps?) yet? We do need to be able to get the masterwork components afterall.

    @rinat114 it gets worse then that, there are ways to snr an instance with only 2 players to bounce prism off of, from my testing, which ill not stick here because of trolls but I reported them last month quietly for fixing and still no changes.

    I've got a question about the explorers charts that are supposed to be available in the R6 market place. Currently i cannot find where these items are purchased.
    From the Traveling Merchant beside the Artisan i am only seeing crafting supplies worth 750 guild marks and lower. I'm still only on the first quest of my master work profession but I'd like to get a head start on gathering materials.

    Are the explorer's charts gated behind a bunch of the masterwork quests? Or did they not get moved to the R6 marketplace yet?

    I am a paladin who uses prism all the time, as much as a can and where ever possible. I do not lag from it, but I do believe others are. I do not know why I dont, but there is something going on. Removing the skill however is not a fix, it is a workaround.

    This is why people make channels for non "i make other people lags".

    you also probably dont run content with 30 other people.

    i can confirm what @thefabricant says about 1 pali being able to crash instances with prism. its very simple to replicate. and has other side effects not to be mentioned here.

    there is no way to fix prism that will not leave it completely useless. there is simply too many ways to get healed that prism will then spam to 30+ people. get 2 or 3 of those in an area and hello slideshow mode. just scrap it and give us a real dps feat like 20% of our recovery as damage.

    while your at it fix burning light so it procs stuff and we might actually be able to keep 3 stacks of pfire up. since you "fixed" terror and didnt bother to put it in the patch notes.

    @terramak the bosses in eCC still spawn multiple times, had it happen to me in eCC today.

    also easily replicate able conditions to make them spawn repeatedly on demand. loot drops each time.

    Any gear required for the 2nd part of any Masterwork Recipe 1, requires a relog to register on the quest tracker if acquired by any means other than crafting after one recieved the quest. Not sure which way ya wanted to go with this. If ya want players to only craft the items, it would be almost as ingenious as that Crit Immune Boss you're building for the next mod. ;)
