weapon transmute preservation when feeding old artifact weapon into new.

is there any way to do this? all the times I have fed old weapon artifacts into new ones, I have lost the transmute effect.

    I bought a new copy of the transmute in preparation. Luckily with the GWF I don't have to worry about an OH transmute.
