Eye of Lathander

Does anyone know if the Arcane chest that drops the Eye of Lathander is still bugged?
And has anyone successfully got one recently.
Been buying Star Metal Gauntlets like crazy trying to get one with no luck so far.
Have just managed to get the top gauntlet from the campaign so hoping for better luck with that.

I imagine the drop rate for this is so impossibly small, hoping for so stories of success to spur me on to keep going.

    I got 3 with 40 star gauntlets, just spam it. Works every time. The eyes are great feeders too :)

    Edit: make sure you have enough space in your inventory ;)

    I used 99 star metal right after mod 6 dropped and got 11 of these damn things and of course they are bind on pickup and I'm a CW so I just used them as feeder artifacts. A guild mate who actually needs the artifact has been trying for months with no luck. Gotta love RNG.

    I got one in 46 tries. I was lucky enough to read the forums before pursuing to know NOT to hit the A button to accept the item.

    Adamanite does grant you a Chance to get an eye but with only one gauntlet per day chances are equal zero.

    Chances are equal zero? You do have some sort of chance though I think.

    Yes, although purchasing those priceless Thayan antiquities for the star metal gloves and having the adamantite gloves will give you optimal chances to obtain your prized EYE. Also you will acquire a decent amount of campaign materials as well toward the Dread Ring Campaign and / or SH coffer donations.

    Good to hear there is some success in getting hold of an Eye, guess I'll keep trying my luck each day and wish for the best.
    Don't have the AD to drop on that many Star metal gauntlets at once.

    Where do the Priceless Thayan Antiquities come from out of interest? I understood they were drops from an older lockbox, seems to be quite a few around as since I've been buying them from the AH the price has been steadily dropping.

    I got one last month. I think I've probably opened about 180 unearthed lockboxes and I can guarantee you that not every one of them was a thayan. Actually I got two of them.. the first one I lost due to not knowing about the bug the second was on the next try after talking to customer support. they said they could do nothing for me.. but I'm not sure they didn't send a little help my way on that...

    Unearthed are wanted for the astral resonators but they will be in other lockboxes as well

    Yesterday I got my 2nd eye of lathander via the daily epic glove. It was my first epic gauntlet as well. When double rp arrives I'll feed my first eye with it. My healer seems to be lucky I guess. Used 3 star gauntlets for my first eye and 1 epic gauntlet for the 2nd one

    Edit: just used my 2nd epic gauntlet on my healer and got another eye of lathander

    Your just making me incredibly jealous now lol, so far I've probably tried a combination of both gauntlets maybe 50 times with no luck yet... Will keep trying...

    Good luck, I had better luck opening multiple chests at a time so save up 15 or so and head in. Good Luck.

    Got one with my first gauntlet, had 10 on me, only 10 I've ever used, but I put it into another artifact, wish I coulda sold it, stupid bound on account

    Dropped another 10 star metal gauntlets in the dread spire today, still no luck, tbh I'm that far down the rabbit hole trying to get this thing there's no backing out now lol

    Don't give up. I advice you to spam them(make sure you have bag space) in the coffer, you may have more success
