It is fun
I design games for my friends
Other reason: I enjoy telling D&D style stories, for I have been a D&D Dungeon Master for almost 25 years now and have many stories, both told and untold, finished and unfinished that can be translated into Neverwinter via the Foundry.

Anyone who is still here after the determined and continuous ignoring of Foundry and its authors is a hard-core author. We're here because we want to tell D&D stories that others can play through and enjoy, and this is one of the only places we can do it. We're still here even though it's been ages since they added anything new to Foundry except bugs. We're still here even though the majority of high-ranked quests are either ancient or exploits. We're still here even though every time someone from Cryptic says that this time for sure, someone's going to work on foundry, it either never happens or quickly stops. And we'll probably continue to be here until they shut down Foundry entirely, because if we haven't left yet, we either enjoy pain and frustration and/or are too stubborn to leave, and still hold onto the vain hope that maybe, someday, someone at Cryptic will wise up and see that the one thing that sets their game apart from the others is the part they continue to ignore and marginalize.
So how are these questions and our answers to them going to affect anything, and particularly affect anything to the point where the survey is "urgent"? Honestly, they're not. Look at the way they've ignored the hundreds of responses they got to their "we want to know what you think" survey.
In answer to your questions, level 1-15 goes by in no time, so isn't really relevant. Making a quality foundry quest takes many, many (many many) hours. Making more than one is a serious commitment. Those of us still doing it like to do it, find it interesting, hope others will like what we've made, and plan to keep doing it, even though it's like trying to make something while Cryptic gives us wedgies every 15-30 minutes. Despite the fact that almost nobody says anything on foundry chat anymore, and the oog guilds that had formed have gone away along with most of the authors, we still consider ourselves a community, if a disjointed and somewhat delusional (refer to "vain hope" above) one.
-- @Gruffydd
(If you liked AD&D, enjoy playing for the story rather than rewards, like trying something a bit different from the standard Neverwinter linear hack-and-slash, and/or have fond memories of module T1, please try my quest T1: The Village of Hommlet. Thanks.)
Although I appreciate the sentiment of polling, I'm curious if you're able to have any pull for any urgency and bring this to Cryptic's attention? If this is a legitimate poll from PW or Cryptic, just say so. No need to hide, and you'd probably get more responses too. If not, this will probably not be taken into consideration any more than Cryptic's own thread for feedback. As Gruffydd put so well in his post, if any authors are still here despite all the obstacles it's because they, we, are hardcore.
So I'll answer the poll anyways. Because "vain hope".
Questions 1-4 not very relevant. Takes no time to level up. So played a ton of hours before and after hitting level 15.
5. Have you used the Foundary to design games before?
Yes
6. How regular do you use the Foundary to design games?
More than once a week, before recent events.
7. What are the reasons for you to design games by using the Foundary? (You can choose more than one reason.)
It is fun
Meet new friends
I design games for my friends
Other reason: The ability to stretch my imagination to the limit, and stretch the foundry's abilities to the limit. Constantly learning new things. Making all my D&D adventures come to life in a whole new way.
8. It is exciting to design games by using the Foundary.
Strongly Agree, except when bugs get in the way.
9. I feel like I make contribution to the Neverwinter gaming community after I design games with the Foundary.
neutral - I feel glad that I'm able to contribute, and others can enjoy. However, there's little to no acknowledgement by the devs that the foundry even exists for the gaming community to be aware of for them to enjoy it. You set your work loose in the ether and hope someone finds it. Too many players don't know what it is, and still think we control loot drops in the end chest.
10. I feel like I belong to the Neverwinter gaming community.
Disagree - to other authors, yes I feel like I belong. Sadly, with few exceptions, not with the overall community at large, excepting my guild. See #9. Authors are a breed apart.
11. It is interesting to design games by using the Foundary.
Strongly Agree
12. How many hours do you spend on playing games designed by others?
More than 20 hours. More than that total, really. Waaaay more. Weekly? 1-5hrs.
13. The games designed by other players are interesting.
Strongly agree - However, there are so many exploit foundry quests, it's hard to find legitimate quests. But when you find them, they're worth it.
14. The games designed by other players are exciting.
Strongly Agree - some amazing jaw dropping work out there that is better than game content. See #13.
15. You will keep playing Neverwinter in the next three months.
Agree - The foundry. I can't stay away.
16. I feel that myself and other players are connected.
Neutral

15. You will keep playing Neverwinter in the next three months.
Somewhat disagree (Refining to the infinite? (Tell me where in D&D you need to REFINE a weapon in order to use it properly, where? tell me? where? WHERE? I'm not hearing you! WHERE IN D&D YOU NEED TO REFINE A WEAPON? not to mention other equipment pieces...) Dropping tons of resources on the Black Hole, uh sorry the Stronghold? Deal with the Foundry with tons of irritating bugs you find every time you want to test something? )

Also, my 5 cents about teh Foundry
There is NO ANY reasons to authors to create it or develop, also as for players to play custom Foundry maps.
Why?
NO ANY worth and good rewards.

I used the Aurora engine in Neverwinter Nights for my own entertainment.
I try to login at least twice daily.
My daily in-game time varies between a few minutes to several hours (I have these things called a job, and children, they come with "responsibilities.")
Yes, I use the Foundry editor. Not as much recently, because it crashes when you add sounds.
Is UGC exciting? Sometimes.
I don't keep track of how long I play UGC, given the broken status of the editor, I've been holding off to allow people to create a finished product.
Do I feel like part of a community? Yes, an angry, frustrated, and tiring community. I wish I had a more cheerful viewpoint, but it is what it is.
