You can get the green ones from the pumpkins, so don't buy them. I've got 10 different ones in less than an hour yesterday (when no one wanted pumpkins).
Also, good to know, that, according to WIKI, Potion of Transformation "transforms the user into an animal of some sort, including wolf, pig, and chicken for 1 minute. Combat is not possible during this time." Potions of Aggrandizement and Diminution do not affect your stats or combat abilities.
Potions are not on the collections grid that i can see. Or are they invisible like the in game achievement my Fiance got for this event. "Mask Witness" This achievement does not show up on my journal as part of the available ones or ones i have not gotten but sure enough she has it on two of three of her toons and we don't know what she did to get it. Anybody know?
If memory serves, I believe it was triggered by seeing and trading with all the possible Illusionist disguises.
According to this thread one must stand near an Illusionist transformed to Mask of God (aka Beholder) and hear him saying something.
It's not the Beholder. The NPC in the picture on the first page of the thread you linked, triggered it on one of mine. I just don't know if seeing it was enough or it completed a combination.

Any illusionist (stationary and wandering) can transform into Mask and only one in the instance will transform into him at any given time. When this happens and which illusionist this happens to, seems to be completely random however. I've personally now seen two completely different illusionists transformed into Mask and have heard reports of even different illusionists transforming. A few reports tell of Moonstone Mask, another was of the guy on the wooden platform opposite of the Market to the one pictured below, and even all three around the Market (the two out front both main entrances and the one on the side facing the Auction House) have been reported to have transformed into Mask.
You don't need to be next to him, or even see him on screen. Just within some unknown close proximity. The first time it happened to me was last year. It was with the illusionist down the steps from the event dias, however I didn't get close to realize it was them until he was transforming back. When the achievement popped up, I was 1/2 up the next flight of stairs towards the invocation area from the event dias.
Just earlier today, it was the guy in the far corner behind the Seven Suns Coster Market, left of where Jaraxle is now (if you're facing Jaraxle).
I was able to see him already in transformation, the achievement popped up as I was running through the Seven Suns Coster Market. I even managed to see some of his NPC chatter this time:
[NPC] Masquerade Illusionist: Normally I don't like to leave witnesses, but today is an exception. [NPC] Masquerade Illusionist: So many people have forgotten what the Masquerade of Liars is truly about.
Here is what I think is the most accurate statement: You need to witness the Illusionists transformed into Masquerade Master form saying one of his random phrases. This transformation can happen to any of the Illusionists, but it is fairly rare. Probably 1 out of 100 times. So if you patrol the 7 stationary Illusionists near the market you should be able to get the achievement in about 15 minutes, as long as you know who are you looking for and that you need to stay near him until he says something.
Here is me getting this achievement earlier today:
They gave us an achievement for an event that happens once a year?
All the seasonal events have achievements obtainable only during their event. Check mark, "Show Available" in your achievement list for Seasonal category.
Huh guys wait, you shouldn't call this "achievements" , thats just in-game challenges. Thats a good way of fooling people wrongly between the real achievements and the in-game challenges... Achievements are link to your xbox profile and count toward your gamerscore.
^^^ This. I actually lol'd reading you guys referring to them as achievements. Simply because I was under the impression you thought it was Xbox achievements. But yes this "achievement" is just like the one you see when you hit Lvl 60 or 70 and it comes up just like that.

These things were called achievements long before the game came to Xbox.

So Neverwinter was released in 2005? Didn't knew that... lol
I don't care how older games may have call them on the PC or whatever. On xbox ACHIEVEMENTS are what i said, and all the rest is medals, in-game unlocks and so on. Even the word "challenge" can now be mislead due to the xbox challenges.
True, but Xbox has its own set achievements. So it can get somewhat confusing. On Xbox, if it does not raise your gamer score then it is not technically an "achievement" as we know it.

I don't recall mentioning a 2005 release date for Neverwinter. If it makes you feel good to exaggerate and put words in people's mouth, go for it.
You may not care what anything other than Xbox calls things, but Xbox does not have a trademark or copyright for the word. There is a tab in your journal labeled achievements and has been this way since Neverwinter was released. These are the in-game achievements and the ones that sometimes grant titles.
It may be confusing for some who mostly play console, but there is nothing wrong with calling them achievements. It would not make sense to call things one name for PC and another for Xbox. Since PC came first, we get the terminology used then. Many PC only games have achievements.
I don't think they will be the renaming "Challenge of the Gods" challenges either.:)
Good to know about this not being an Xbox Achievement. The Wiki doesn't really make this distinction clear. I guess it's not so easy to turn an in-game Achievement into an Xbox Achievement, otherwise dev(s) would do that.

Neverwinter has an in-game Achievement panel that it has had before it went to the XBOX and within Neverwinter, both in the XBOX and PC, they are referred to simply as "Achievements." These can be seen by checking the two options at the bottom of the Achievement window, which is the 2nd tab of your Quest Journal. If one would like to see a list of XBOX Achievements available for your Gamertag on the XBOX Live service instead, you can do so here.
Well i guess you misunderstood the sense of what i said or i misunderstood you, as what i meant was the 360(and its achievement system) was released in 2005, long before neverwinter.
Im surprise they actually called them "achievements" , Diablo 3 for exemple call them "challenges" and i feel it should be this way, its less confusing. Also , and this is personal i supose, but i don't care much about in games "challenges" , i do them in Diablo when i can, when its not too hard or not too long, but thats it. The thing is, everything that is "in-game" will die with the game... so i never saw a good point of doing so. Sure using a title is always fun and all, games like mortal kombat and dead or alive also have this, but i never saw this as an 'achievemnet" per say.
True Achievements let a perma-record on your profile and thats what make them so awesome. You can still see today on X1 that i beaten COD4 entirely (1000/1000) back then on 360....:) Thats just an exemple but you get the point.
Quite frankly i realized there was titles for killing creatures in NW, cause it said "killed 500 kobolts" for exemple and so on, but i never even gave it a look inside the journal...
On the other hand im working on those 1000 dragons cause its a real achievement, i want it on my profile...
