Cant login from char selection page

I cant login or with any characters or even switch characters, on main character selection login page.
"Enter world" button is not functioning, and cant shut process down even with task manager as it just flips neverwinter back open as soon as i launch task manager. I was playing earlier today with no issues, and not made any changes to my computer system.

Sounds like you might have an overlay blocking your screen. Do you use Steam or ARC? If so, you might have called up their game overlay which might have then caused an issue that you're seeing. Press the overlay hotkey again or barring that, press "CTRL ALT DELETE" and choose Log Off to shut everything down and return to the Windows login screen.

I use Arc to login, and have disabled steam from startup & services. What is the overlay "hot key" I cant CTRL ALT DELETE as i explained above, the character page login prevents me from doing this.

Ive managed with persistance to get to task manager, but everytime i end "arc overlay process" (2 arc overlay processes runnin) it just automatically restarts them. So I tried stopping the "ARC browser" (4 processes running of this) and at this i can now login. Question is how do I launch the game without arc running, as this is what is causing the problem. I cant close it untill im on the cahr selection page btw a it spame me it cant close arc while nw is running.

To run Neverwinter without loading ARC (or Steam), locate Neverwinter.exe in your installation directory and make a shortcut directly to that, then run that shortcut instead of loading ARC (or Steam). At present, you only need to run ARC to redeem some promotional codes.

Well, upon launching Neverwinter from its folder .exe and pypassing ARC the problem was still there, untill i CTRL ALT DELETE to check if arc somehow relaunched, but it had not,then clicking Neverwinter to reopen the minimised page, which allowed me to click "Enter world" but then getting "press a key to begin" upon world load, and not being able to until again CTRL ALT DELETE then return to the game. So i decided to, while i was in game, set to windowed mode, and then tried relaunching from the Neverwinter.exe only, and all was fine. I then proceeded to check by launching via ARC and all was fine. The only reason i can determine is that somehom it dont like some high resolutions, as 1600 x 900 (my desktop res) works fine but i had set NM to 1280 x 1024 i think, yesterday, where the problem started.

I dont know if this is a problem with my computer,ARC, or the games mouse pointer code, all my drivers, OS, antivirus ect are up to date.

No problem. I suggest to then run the game in Windowed Maximized mode until this issue can be pin-pointed down or resolved.

Just an update. It dont matter if i run through arc or otherwise, if i run with maximised or window maximised in whatever resolution i get the bug. Also as i thought it was partly resolved with a workaround i ran through arc, and was in a dungeon on last boss and died lol, tried to click respawn, it would not activate or HAMSTER+2 tried closeing arc browser processe's and overlays from task manager, but still locked out effectivly from the game.

Im going to give the game a break untill there is news of a fix for this.
