So, with the changes to mark prices and the abundance of r5s, I want to try to max my GWF. What is the best enchantment? Lifesteal, Defense, or HP?
DEFIANT "Where Yesterday Has Been Exiled, Memory Is Rebellion." "The state of ruin is essentially a temporary situation that happens at some point, the volatile result of a change of era and the fall of empires. Ruins are a fantastic land where one no longer knows whether reality slips into a dream or whether, on the contrary, dream makes a brutal return into the most violent of realities." #ITMFA

If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
Class dependant imo
Warlock in my case...no clue...TnT belt and a free Reinkarnation ticket
for my GWF i would chose
LS, deflect, HP allways helps...except against invisible classes with oneshot automatic: savage/black ice/ draconic
Offensive slots black ice sounds good for me too: power crit recovery-->my build benefits from recovery
My warlock gets brutals but crit is not most important in PVP so power/Arp-->draconic
all in all i do not know if high arp builds are viable at all, so in case i am not BIS i would not focus on arp
I went temporary for darks cause i wanted to try and reach 20% LS roughly, and savage enchants are quite expensive.
LS is needed for PvP GWFs, it's a big part of our survivability when you hit a high enough %.
HPs are needed too cause they increase not only your HP pool but also your temp HPs from unstoppable.
In my cause, being a GSF+Lathander set user, HPs are also important to increase both SF and Lathander's resurrection healings. For normal Negation users it affects both HP pool and Unstoppable temp HPs. Plus if you use, for example, wheel of elements, it affects water buff and earth buff (both based on % of your total HPs.
Plus Savage enchants at higher ranks give more overall stats, like cruel enchants i think.
IDK about Saber...he also has like 13k ArP--->130% DRI...which if i got it right from numbers-crunching players, might be a waste of stats... But might work out to take down Paladins so who knows...
BTW i temporarily settled for darks but plan on going for Savages as soon as possible, to buff both HPs and LS. Both are important.
GWFs should get around 25% DR from defense and AC, 15% from scars, 30% from negation and then cap to 80% when sprinting/ Unstoppable. That's what i thought but i'm probably missing some in-depth math.
I planned on going up to 7-8k ArP then stop.

We are searching for slave labor, will pay with food from our farm!
GWF with 42+15+30+25=112%DR full stacks (80 %cap) not taking into account instoppable
Saber 115% RI, you 64% Arp resist and 42% DR from tenacity
In case Arp works against scars, Negation and class dependant DR
0.7 x (1 - (1.15 x (1-0.64)= 0.41 (+0,42) --> 82%
No effect because you do not get below cap
In case the GWF has no stacks from Negation and scars
0.25 x (1-(1.15 x (1-0.64))= 0.1465
So 0.42+0.1465=0.5665. 23% below cap
All in all I doubt this 115% will do any effect against BIS tanks with Negation enchant
It only works against squishy targets like lets say Hunter with Negation full stacks
or against my warlock etc.
In case you are BIS I can't say if its worth it.
Maxing power to rise the damage overall using tFeytouched may be same effect because 115% arp with near no effect on tanks and about 17% you lower the DR cap from squishy targets spending tons of points into Arp?
42%(tenacity)+42%(DR/negation)
0.42 x (1-(1.15 x ( 1-0.64)= 0.246
42+24= 66%
I would say in case you face a BIS tank you will deal more damage having spend more points in power than in arp, because you never get him below the cap, but since you do not get him down its irrelevant
Not a con build, str/ dex at 115k HP.
Don't remember exactly how much was from ArP but didn't see many other sources of DRI...
