I refuse to pvp anymore

It doesnt even matter the reason why i refuse to do it. There are also poor stronghold documention on build paths. I can't get conquerer shards because of lack of proper pvp balancing.

I am officialy now a pve only player. I will never pvp again in this game unless there is real progress made in skill/ power balancing.

It will probably take a month or two for the 2 or 3 players in my guild who still pvp to earn the necessary conquere shards to upgrade our archer tower, which we will probably never use, since the stronghold pvp map uses the strongest, or most represented guild defences in the match. I dont even know anymore, nore do i care.

This portion of the game (bulding up our stronghold) is quickly losing my intrest which is a shame, since i wanted this from day 1.

    I have heard this from a growing number of the pure PvPers that I know. They would not even join in if the NCL came back.

    It seriously does not help that they turned off SH PvP... after all of the larger PvP guilds were able to collect full Lionsmane sets. Honestly... if they would have committed to testing SHPvP more, as they originally told the "Siegemaster" candidates... this would not be as big of an issue.​​

    The truth is there are not so many builds u can use un pvp... But if u find a build u can use could be great

    I am primarily a PvPer myself and since the AP/Stamina wards have shown up and proven to be such game breakers I have stopped PvP. In fact I have stopped pretty much everything. I log in to get key and pray a couple of times.

    As for the PvP structure, I can honestly say I have not seen these things turn the tide in a match. To me they are wasted resources that could have been put elsewhere. All you need in the match are OP and DC pairs for the win.

    Just me but then again my sample size small and now the SH PvP is turned off.... that is how big a fail it is.

    SH is exactly what i did not want it to be. Both a requirement (boons, stuff...) and an annoyance (especially for small guilds). The game rules are currently in such a sorry state in general, both PvP and PvE, i cant even "refuse to do this or that". Its just not a matter, am more and more merely pressing keys and buttons, whilst heavily hammered.

    They want you to have 2 characters at least. with no way to switch builds, and with tenacity...it is simply not fun to pvp without separate characters. The problem is, it is too expensive or time consuming to have 2 characters at a competitive level.

    They did not balance anything according to the feedback from NCL preseason. And the new stuff they introduced make the thing worse. Well, they should have a look our feedback from NCL and the ones about the new stamia/action point drain wards. Balance thing step by step and bring the NCL back, we could enjoy pvp a bit more.

    Yeah... that game sucked big bawls. I do not feel like playing for 6 months in order to play the class that I want to play.​​

    They're lamenting about: Perma CC, class that are immune to CC, DoT damage, PvP-Only skills that one-shot players, power scaling between high and low level players, certain class capstone abilities (symbols) being OP (like the paladin), not having dual specs for PvP, PvP only be fun at low levels, better bracketing between gear levels, certain classes being OP, premades running only one or two types of uber-class (archer/slayer)...

    Seems balancing is a very difficult task and others are having difficult times getting it right too. I'm always laughing when people come up with "balancing is easy... just do this and that...".

    Sorry, but with having so many HAMSTER to turn it is a difficult and complex thing to balance stuff - the number of combinations and interactions just grows exponentionally and thus cannot be reasonably tested.

    (Well, the problem starts with having a clear definition of what balance actually is. But that's another topic)

    I just stopped domination at level 60. I feel like a kindergartener in 12th grade. Will give it a go after I gear and level up more.

    Stamina drain overload enchants have to go or they have to be put on a cooldown of 1 minute or more.
    Seriously, Stamina is not the same for every class, for GFs it's like another health bar, damnit.

    Queue times for GG get longer and longer now. It used to just be when premades were stomping about, but now it seems all the time.

    I havent been able to get into a GG yet. Was qued for a few hours too the other day. I figured maybe it was obsolete these days? I came back after a long break recently.

    lets face it sh pvp is boring, too long, laggy unbalanced since pvp guilds farm it to get ahead of everybody else. not many players know the strategy (is there any strategy at all with this content?)i always have to look at map to see where are the catapults where are the donkeys and where the hell i am supposed to run?!

    bring back the whole gg event, yes the old fun gg event half hour doing quests for some advance pvp points. half hour pvp and half hour dungeon runs. this was a winning content so why the hell get rid of it????
    whos awesome decision was it?

    as someone pointed out in another thread, when a damage dealer class is dealing 10 to 20 times the damage of another equally geared class, you already have issues to deal with.

    I'm just tired of being told "this is how you can make ad" and then being unable to do it because the fighting system they implemented does not work. If you get less than 100 points you get no reward. matchmaking does not work as it should, classes and gear are not considered when sorting players into teams. there is no buffing of weaker players to make it a more even playing field. There is no environmental actions to the game map that allows for balancing. Heck the idea of a golem defending the spawn point to prevent camping never occured to dev's. Go ahead jump into the spawn area and be smushed by all means.

    tenacity should have been used to tweak indiviual powers on a weekly basis until things got closer to being reasonable.

    There are no alternative modes to achieving victory, you can't purchase temporary buffs within the match environment to enhance yourself during the match. If you combined this idea with allowing for players to use 10% of the value of their pve gear, and tweaks with tenacity you would probably have most probelms solved.

    Every potential power that a player uses should have an opportunity cost, whether it is pve or pvp. When a class has the potential to do so many things but has no opportunity costs, then something is wrong.

    +1 I miss the old GG, still can't figure out why they have gutted the game's heart and soul in so many ways.

    PvP is gotten better. The balance can be off but it is on a little more often.

    I started in Mod 5 but didn't get to PVP until Mod 6 (when I had to get new armor). So I never got to do this. I wasn't in a guild until close to Mod 7. I'd love to play that!

    Two things = new devs + new management = big changes
    Don't care for much that has happened since April. Strongholds has some positives.
