While Tenacity should most certainly be removed as it was just a misguided attempt to make players grind for more gear that was stat wise not as good as their PVE armor, it's just a drop in the bucket WRT the current cluster-HAMSTER mess that is PVP. Taking it out would certainly be a step in the right direction tho.

Meanwhile, until something more intense is done, I'd like 4 Major Armor Kits of Tenacity, please!
*by this I mean have it so you have a wardrobe or something that you have a presetgear build and a power point/feat build x2, letting you have a PvP build and a PvE build for instance. Of for whatever they prefer to do, say a DC's group heal set and solo set etc.
I haven't been able to use reinforcement kits on any of my gear for the last two modules. I have repeatedly reported this and had no response.
I'm sure they will get right on that...the 7th thursday of the month for sure.... Right after they "fix" a bunch of stuff that isn't broke and ignore or put off 100's of stuff that is.... And a couple of Mod have gone live without test server modifications or debugging, just so there will be doz. and doz. of other bugs more critical that yours they will put you off for.
Just saying......:/

Do you move the armor pieces to inventory before applying the kit? That was a gotcha for me iwith them for awhile. You can't apply the kit while wearing it. The tooltip doesn't explain that--unless they changed it more recently.
I pulled this out of your quote because it speaks to something more important, the gear cycle. It's obviously way too fast and investing in armor kits is probably the worst investment one can make.
Gear cycle is too fast if you want to be and stay BIS. But I don't buy a car every 3 years, and I don't get NW armor every three months. I've just levelled a new main, and am simply getting Burning Executioner for the moment, which I may or may not make elemental. By the time I were to get Lionsmane--requiring both seals AND banners--Underdark could well have yet a new set of gears out. I'll likely wait for that.
Lionsmain doesn't strike me as all that much better than Elemental Burning.
The entire idea of PVP gear is silly, when you think about it, unless we had two different sets of stats that we could switch between; one for PVE and one for PVP. Both with different powers and gear designed specifically for the two different playtypes. Now, the majority of the powers a CW has now could stay as the PVE powers as most of them are area of effect. But take the single target powers away and replace them with new powers and instead put those singletarget powers into the PVP powers and add new powers there too. Imagine that for every other class too; two separate sets of powers for PVE and PVP, along with two sets of gear that changes once you enter PVE or PVP.
This is the only way to try to balance PVP while at the same time NOT ruin PVE.
I dont need tenacity kits. Like many others, i want tenacity removed and the skills, stat curves and equip sanitized. No tenacity and no dual skill effects. A stable and well defined game rules.
A bit nosy NW-DKG7E99X6
"Hardcore" exploration journey and dungeon crawl. Read its description prior to trying it.
