Get with your guild and make a plan . If your running around by yourself with a squishy class.... Then your doing it wrong.

PVP is not at all balanced between the classes. Domination PVP matchmaking often puts highly geared parties against moderately geared ones. That probably happens with Strongholds as well (though I have not tried PVP Strongholds outside of the Alpha).

Though skill matters a lot when the teams are closely balanced (classes and gear), no amount of skill can overcome large gear differences, or playing a class/build that is not the flavor of the day for PVP.

It's not that class you should be worried about, if you really want to be a threat in SH PvP, make a Healing Cleric. They can heal the Ballistas, NPCs and all types of HAMSTER I am quite sure shouldn't be allowed.

Cleric and Paladin team for the win in SH.
I may not be considered by most the BEST PVP Warlock on the server but, I am the most HATED amongst them.

If that's the case the OP healer should be the most OP class in SH pvp with their ability to heal a whole party to full in a blink of an eye even while CC'd.

Want to nerf TR (this is reasonable) and GWFS (plain stupid to nerf an almost useless class) when OPs and DCs are running wild on SH??? ROFLMAO!!!!

This is why devs don't take balancing threads seriously

Rock: Scissors is fine, Nerf Paper.

That said, Paladins need a review...we tried one 4 on 1 last night, and just got bored and left - I'm pretty sure the paladin went AFK for a minute too.

Gwf damage is out of control but the lifesteal changes are the main thing i blame. Ye today without changing anything else shocking and gwf deserve to be nerfed

Again, the class needs serious and big improvements, even if it means to lose damage from IBS.
its not only ibs, all the damage multiplier the class have allow to hit with anything like it was a fatality.
sure strike damage is out of control,
    lostmauth procs are too,
indomitable strenght hits harder than shocking execution.

the class movement speed is the higher in game and probably makes people rage more than a hiding tr.
combination of crazy damage and higher attack speed make lifesteal procs once every 3 strike (which is more or less 1 sec ) potentially back to full HP.

have you not seen yet 3 people attacking a GWF laughing going back to full everytime?
those people are not pugs.... not really, it must appear a tr with HAMSTER shocking to have a chance to kill him.

so really no, the class is not in a bad shape. it overperforms and the op is right.

nothing comparable to paladins but still something that needs to be fixed.

Lifesteal will be applied to each target - the more targets, the higher chance, the more HP you steal back.

bringing back the old lifesteal would probably fix a couple of balancing problems.
lifesteal first of all should be aimed at few classes in our case: warlocks, scoundrel tr and combat hr.

they wanted to nerf this source of healing, in the end they buffed it to the skies.
endless consumption should be reworked and the stronghold lifesteal boon changed in deflect.

    A few things...

Everytime I see a Class Rating vote, GWF has always been in the mid-lower tier...... :(

GWF's indomitable strike only hits for 10~15k unbuffed, and about 40~50k when fully buffed, but like everyone has said, the casting time is so long and the range is so short, its becoming more like a PvE skill cus you can hardly hit any good player with this skill... not to mention, its a long cooldown even if you miss the shot.... yes I have given up using this skill....

Indomitable Strength is another laughable daily, do you know as long as you are not completely stunned/proned, you can dodge away even after getting the first hit? (for DC/TR/HR/CW) so yes, its very hard to hit dodgable characters with this skill, but look at these classes with dodge abilities, you know how popular these classes are...

Not gonna bother commenting too much cus we all know GWF is nowhere near the top of the list (and this is clear with the past votes from the guys on the forum) but I would definitely welcome GWF's power to be revised as a lot of them are USELESS in both PvE and PvP, period :(

oops when I say Power I mean Encounters. More than half of GWF's encounters are completely useless in both pvp and pvp...

Give GWF class mechanics like "crushing roots" + "thorned roots" + "Ancient roots" + "Trapper's Cunning" + "Swiftness of the fox" + "Forest bond" in exchange of all our stacks and power amplifiers and i will more than happy with a 100% crit build for both PvE and PvP. n_n
    Where is the ultralike button??
    /100% agree

Oh those people who used to toy with GWFs now complain about them actualy doing something back to them, haha x3

Pvp is very unbalnced and is worse than any other time I can remember. Paladins that take so many people to kill them is unbalanced enough. Perma trs too get overlooked and can unbalance a game like paladins. And recnetly HR trapper and roots that can hold you 99% of the time and not only that some have now worked out a way to not take dmg by spamming fox shift with hardly anycool down. The major issue with pvp for me though is making sides equal, I studied 10 matches and every match was completely one sided ( is this fixed?) so i looked at the player item level and gear and noticed that every match the poorly geared where on one side and the near fully geard on the other with 1 or 2 exceptions this to me can't be random it has to be done on purpose for such a high percentage of games to be this way and needs addressing as no wonder ques are so long imagine your new to neverwinter and enter pvp 1st game you'd think never again and many do when it could be so great if balanced corectly and it's not a difficult thing to do. Come on neverwinter don't make me apply for manager at the labs lol I'm a son of a bleeep and I drink spit in my coffee it adds flavor.

What is really overpowered in SH?

GWF is easy, in open terrain even CW can kill him quickly

We have 3 OP things in my opinion
    first- stamina/ap drain glyphs
    second- overpowered lags
and overpowered trol- comps like this one:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2MIzwvrHvI

Enjoy SH pvp against 6 op + 3 dc, (Special thanks for guild " The Holy Cruseaders" for making super trol comp, GG).

are you remotely saying hr are more viable then gwf in pvp or pve? because that may become my very first troll signature.
