VIP are charged Auction House posting fees in Gateway

My VIP set lets me pay nothing for posting when I'm in the game,
but charges the usual amount when posting thru Gateway.

Not a huge deal, but I thought I'd post it since I noticed the oversight.

    Yeah, that's subtle.
    Also, professions bonus XP are not rewarded.

    They're not even keeping it up to date with the game: no guild marks indication, no stronghold management, no VIP management (let me get my daily rewards from the gateway!!).

    Along with long lasting bugs and lacks, like empty event calendar and broken character sheet.

    If they don't want us play the Gateway, or they miss the skills to develop it (I bet on this), they just should shut it down.

    Pretty sure that none of the VIP stuff works via the gateway. Just like none of the 2x AD weekend worked if you collected via the Gateway.

    I'd LOVE to see the contribution log from SH added.

    Spoke to Andy about this. This is a bug and the devs are working on it.

    Confirmed this with @StrumSlinger. This is not a bug. It is working as intended. If you wish to use your VIP benefits, you must be logged into the game.

    I need to talk to Andy about it again. First time I asked he said it was a bug. Second time he said it wasn't. Will talk to him another time to confirm.

    It might not be an *intentional* interaction with Gateway, but it's how Gateway works. It doesn't recognize anything that makes your account or characters special snowflakes and they'd basically have to rebuild it from the ground up to get it working.

    I don't think we can expect them to do that.

    It feels like a punishment for VIP tbh. Which I am sure doesn't help sell VIP or reduce server loads. I believe gateway also doesn't award more experience points if you have azure's slotted in your utility slots.
    Surely there must be a way to get this to work. again, it adds to the feeling of a not quite working game.
