Mod 6 fk'ed up DR and intruced lag into most maps. DR is the worst and they have no will or foresite to even attempt to fix it. I have an SW with all Elven gear, rank 8's and all artifacts purple... i can survive eCC.. but i die all the time in DR due to lag... it's sukz

therefor the question, but as answer to my question, it seems i am not the only1 having a pain in the but there xD

Yeah, somehow the lag showed up at the start of Mod 6.

At first I thought it was due to more people loading the instances with their paladins, but the lag has never gone away.

Since there were no changes in the zone at all but raising level of the mobs, I'm not sure what the issue is. Some people have mentioned that the attacking zombies linger at the camp entrances (since the guards can't defeat their higher hitpoints as easily), but I don't think that could cause zone-wide lag.

That is the only instance where I have lag constantly.
The worst part is when I have to walk around the quest givers. Move a bit here, a bit there, then press F...no, wait...I went to far...go back...Now I can press F.
And I see a lot of people moving inch by inch so it's the same to everyone.
Same problem is currently in SH Siege.

Pretty funny... I'd had lag in Dread Ring ever since I returned to the game a month or so ago. I go in yesterday and no lag! I guess lag just took the day off.

Note: simply yelling out "lag" is uselessly vague. Your job, should you choose to do it, is to explain what you're seeing vs what you expect to see, in such a way that others can understand the problem.

I do see problems in DR, so here's what I would explain as "bad lag" to the developers:
    1) With loot on the ground, or a 'F to interact' point (e.g. picking up the rod of cancellation pieces), aim at it
    2) Count how long it takes for the 'Press F to interact' prompt to appear onscreen
    3) Note that it can take several seconds for that to appear, versus nearly instantaneous in many other zones.

It's usually pretty bad, as described above. Being in an instance with fewer than ten players can help, though sometimes the game actually hangs while you try to switch instances. Also, there may not be an available instance to switch to.

During one of those DDOS attacks, I was already in and playing in Dread Ring, and the game performance was flawless until the attack ended and more people started to be able to get in again.

about the looting, if i have to stand 3 seconds above it , to 1st see it, yes i see it as lag.
if i aply potions, and the potions dont kick in,but delayed, i see it as lag.
if i kill a mob, and in the coming 2 seconds i still receive hits ,while it is dead, i see it as lag.

The lag appeared in mod 6, but not at start. It appeared when they increased mob hp by 50%. I believe the guards cannot handle the overflow of Zombies spawning on all instances of DR. I know in recent changes to leadership this may sound sarcastic, but: remove zombies from DR. Or at least limit their spawn so guards can handle them again. Or buff guards.

Or script the guards so they leash back to their posts instead of going on eternal coffee break if pulled away from camp, or aggroing to dummies. Part of the problem with the zombie spawns is most of the guards not actually fighting them at all.

If this lag is ever going to be fixed, it will be soon, the xbox players are complaining about this since mod 6 released on their platform, and we all know they don't want to lose that cash cow.
