Neverwinter VIP Suggestion - XMPP access please?

Hi guys, I would like to make a suggestion for a VIP perk - access to Cryptic's XMPP servers. Other Arc games such as Champions online and Star Trek Online have this as a perk for subscription. In the short time I had a Star Trek Online subscription I enjoyed this perk very much as it allowed me to use the other channels in a much more clean and nice way in Neverwinter. Since VIP is a kind of sort of subscription type of thing I think this is not unreasonable.

Basically it allows you to use third party chat programs like pidgin to chat in in game chat channels and it's fantastic!

Perhaps it is not available to everyone, but I am almost certain that Zebular has used this before (he mentioned once that he wasn't in game, but was chatting with us).

Seems like it would be a cool feature.

Everyone in STO and Champions Online who is a kind of subscriber can use it...

Yeah, when I sub to STO it gives me XMPP access. I keep asking them to make a Neverwinter method for activating XMPP access, and will continue to do so. I also feel VIP is the perfect avenue. I'd say have it unlock at Rank 12.

Wrong. XMPP access does not grant you the ability to use Zone, Say, Trade or any other channels except for Guild and Custom Channels. As well, you cannot send a tell to anyone who isn't on your friend's list or hasn't sent you a message first.

I've used XMPP clients to access Neverwinter chat. It's been a while, at least a year maybe longer, but if it's not possible anymore then it means they've disabled it. Just ask google about Neverwinter XMPP - the second link happens to be mine, it gives all the details. Like I said, it was a long time ago, so your mileage may vary.
