Still can't access the game (tried preview since this patch). NO FIX TO VIDEO CRASH ISSUE. This is beyond a reasonable time to have to wait. I am sick of force verify, -ds39, deleting gameprefs, safe mode, etc. NOTHING WORKS since mod 7. What's worse is it was reported on preview weeks before mod 7 went live and nothing was done then either.

@knoebels The patch comes out in about 15 hours, they did include some fixes regarding your issue, you should at least wait it out.
Is this patch not on the preview server then? Because that is where I have tried it and it did a 500mb+ patch update so I'm pretty sure it is, and it still doesn't work.

I don't see anything in the patch notes about fixing the huge issue with Glory donations, our guild is pretty much stuck at this point we cant build anything else cause our hall is at 2 marketplace at 1, while we dont need the hall to 3 to increase the marketplace we need it to get stone to increase the marketplace, please fix and give us back the glory we lost.

Hello i am new and i have a problem... i cant start the game. I registered and logged in but it said ''Invalid username or password'' I dont know if it does have anything to do with the maintenance or what. I hope you to answer me soon.
I'm somewhat disappointed that it looks like the difficulty modifications don't apply to any of the endgame content
So I'ma a bit puzzled...
Enemies from levels 61 through 70 have had their damage reduced slightly.
Enemies from levels 61 through 70 have had their hit points reduced substantially.
Does it mean that epic dungeon mobs will still hit hard as they used to? same applies to their HP?
Forgive me but I can't recall what lvl are the epic dungeons mobs. I'm quite sure that they're over 70 though.
IF that's true than the dungeons will not be affected. Not sure is it good or bad
I was kinda hoping that the OH'ks would happen a bit less often.

and the worse is that a friend of mine stopped playing the game, and the glory donation for stronghold is donating the wrong amount to coffer and again fix the way he give rewards on stronghold im getting fed up of doing them and not getting rewards, by the way tyamant coffers donation is broken.
if u dont fix it ur gonna lose lots of players

The patch notes state:

The blog entry "Neverwinter: Updates to Difficulty and Leveling Speed" from StrumSlinger states however:
The 50% HP buff that had been added to level 61-70 critters has been removed.
Enemies in the endgame campaign zones (Icewind Dale, Sharandar, etc.) have had most of their HP buff removed.
- We still wanted a slight difficulty increase in these endgame zones, but the numbers we were using previously were definitely too high.
- The bosses and mini-bosses were never given an HP boost, and that still remains true.
The amount of damage enemies do has been further reduced from critters level 61+.
- We reduced the damage critters dish out a number of weeks ago, but we went ahead and dropped their damage down even further.

I don't know myself we can always just wait it out and see when it's patched, but that's learning a hard way.

Wouldn't it be easier to just drop the mob lvl by one? I mean 73 = 72

That really bites man. I had something like that happen to me, I tried running it as administrator, gave the whole neverwinter folder administrator access, reset the computer in safe mode, and then tried running the game. I don't know which of those did it, but something worked for me.

Yes, the Tiamat hoard is stuck at 0%. I don't know what broke it this time, and hope that it'll be fixed.
I really want that Tiamat set for my DC before the x2 RP weekend. But yeah, things are getting fixed, just not all at once.
Still nothing regarding PVP unbalances matches and characters, wow I’m impress keep up the good work… toward the end!!!
What do you want done? Can't balance matches without more pvp'ers in the system, can't get more people to pvp because there is bad matchmaking. At this point pvp in this game is dead. It kind of sucks as while I was never a hardcore pvp'er I did enjoy it sometimes. But honestly there is no way to fix it anymore. Treat it like DDO's pvp. It's there if you look for it, but it's ignored by 99.99%.

It's there if you look for it, but it's ignored by 99.99%.
That's a pretty sad outlook. People come out from the woodworks to PvP during NCL. They should use the feedback generated when a lot of players PvP to make changes. I think they have looked at the underperforming classes in the last NCL and are promising class changes (let us hope!).
There are a lots of recommendations in the PvP forum, but sadly there are still many bugs, and trolling at lower levels. (e.g. SH armor equippable by any level, enchants not restricted by level so rank 12's and transcendents are seen in the lower brackets). Not making PvP equitable to the new player will kill off any desire to continue later on. Which is a shame because the action in this game is one of the best in any MMOs I've played.

No-one knew whether the original adjustment affected only mobs up until lvl 70 or those in DR, Shar, IWD and WoD as well as dungeon mobs. It turns out all mobs besides bosses and mini-bosses were affected so I assume that it will be the same for this new adjustment. An official clarification would be most welcome though.

Seems bosses in mini-dungeons are affected. Easiest Biggrun I've had since Mod6 hit.

Yep I have the same issue once in game. Random video locks... total lock up have to reboot. I've tried the things you listed also. Nothing works. Other games and D3D dependent applications run fine. W7 computer is very solid otherwise. NW used to run just fine.
