T-com Issue

Hi all mybe somone can help us ,or i can give some info.

All T-com(internet provider) customer cannot log in to the game from europe.

Mybe this have a huge effect on player base mybe not idk.


We try the http://download.perfectworld.com/CrypticNetTest.exe say :
unable to allocate performance buffer
contacting nettest server..timed out
hit return to exit


Idk if this problem with the server side or from EU side cuz we cannot contact the support with T-com.

    Yes,
    We have been a great problem with connection for 2-3 hours.
    I have had great lagg and "server not respond" cuz i decided i go quit from game.
    From this i and my several guild mates cannot log in to the game, we cannot start the neverwinter client.

    I contacted the support they looked into it and say
    DNS setting in your router. 8.8.8.8 is Google's DNS and usually serves well as a backup.
    will not help us cuz we shoud have connection to the server .

    Something between the route server side and T-com and not revers can somone give us solid feedback?

    T-com support say we shoud contact the NWO support.
    Cuz we shoud have no problem to reach/connect NWO.

    For me the issue is either telia.net (a backbone) or "pwe-border-" pnap.net gate (internap). So far all day issue, did not bother walking/testing the net further as there is nothing i could do about it anyway.

    That's basically why I opted it as a suggestion. If it's a DNS problem, this could solve your second half of your connection problem. If the ISP claims there's no DNS issue, do a traceroute to patchserver.neverwinter.com or accountserver.neverwinter.com and see where things break down.

    But can y write step by step what shoud we do cuz we are no PC genus:)

    I try to change the dns in win7 but it have zero effect .
    Also i try to change it on my router (i must backup it cuz few min later i dont have any internet accces :) ).

    So i am really not a pro pc informatician.

    I think we shoud tipe somthing in user command ?

    Yup, as for now its about 6h since I cant login with my main connection. Im a T-com customer. Surprisingly my tracert tried to connect to xbox server. I have some local ISP Wifi I can connect to and so far it works - except of lag spikes coming from access point distance.

    And we cant join to gateway too, so now we lose so many Ad and time in Professions...

    No compensation, as this is not a Cryptic problem. The problem is somewhere between your computer and the servers, not the servers themselves. Please contact your ISP again.

    i m having the same problem and i m from turkey. i couldn't enter the game whole day and the guy says it is about my computer. i m playing MMO's for more than 10 years and i had that kind of issues in only terrible korean games.

    Other PWE games not effected by this problem .

    Star Trek Online no problem. I can connect it and also play it.
    Forsaken World no problem. I can connect it and also play it.
    Blacklight: Retribution no problem. I can connect it and also play it.

    No. That is exactly what he did NOT say. He said the problem is BETWEEN your computer and the server.
    That means it is NOT your computer and it is NOT the server. The problem is what is BETWEEN them.

    Its definitely not fixed yet, it was smooth this morning (Eu time), probably because of low traffic. Its better than yesterday, because I can at least log into the game, however launcher usually takes 3-4 tries to appear, resources load slowly and sometimes I get "Unable to connect" errors when I click "Play". In game I can play in areas where Im alone - occasional lag spikes and short SNR, but its bareable. Any group content is impossible, when I entered Protectors Enclave I couldnt do literally anything. It also seems to get worse and worse the more EU people log into the game.

    /Edit not to necro: It is fixed as of 20.08.15 - 2 days without lags.

    i can get in but can't play due to the unbelievable lag. my animations comes after 20 seconds

    The 1st hop with issues for me is from pnap.net gate to next pnap gate (its already behind eu-us backbone if its rly served by telia - which had issues as well in the past btw, sht happens). And considering various "things", its pointless to talk about it without a cryptics network admin input and more results of clients tests (which require at least average knowledge). Unfortunately there are gates and protocols which cant be accurately tested (if at all) from outside of such ring/backbone/network.

    Okay, since this issue appeared for the first ime the connection to game was never smooth again. Short lags, rubberbanding, Dragons in WoD/Tiamat almost unplayable - and I dont mean the "normal" lag everybody experiences when there are some prism guys - I mean millions of unpacked packets in netgraph, dragon on my screen having half hp, while my friends on teamspeak say its already dead and they are on their way to next one. Sometimes in dungeons I need to press my skill 3-4 times before it fires etc. It wasnt like that before.

    And now - the original issue is coming back. I can barely start launcher - it loads objects slowly, takes dozens of seconds to fully load. In game - heavy rubberbanding, SNRs and group content is impossible again.

    I dont know if I should start new thread, since this is over a month old - but the issue is back again.

    Aaand... I cant connect to game anymore.
