Sold 2 items in the ah for close to 60000 ad, didn't recieve my ad. This is the second time this has happend. Last time it was 60000 in items. I have spent money to get these items. Why won't support return my things?
So your not getting any notification in your mailbox after the bid?
No.
opened the message and the ad didn't add to my inventory. The first time I bought 3 dragon bone and the ah took my ad but didn't give the dragon bone. This time I sold 2 rank 7 enchantments and didn't get the ad. I have an item on the ah right now that someone has bid on, I have no idea who or how much..never got mail saying someone bid, just can't remove the item.
I understand this. I didn't know your ad inventory could get full. The game cheated me. Period. No one from support will fix it or return my items. Not a penny more real money from me. As for the items, what about the overflow bag? I put my first ticket in two weeks ago...still not resolved..I've lost over 120000 ad..
Your refined AD from sales on the TH does not cap at a level most would even notice. Your inventory being full would only result in items not sold going to overflow.

The ad didn't add to my inventory, I watched as I opened the mail. And when I bought the db, I got a pop up saying somethhing like can't perform this action. Took my ad, but no db.

Not true, try it, You WILL lose the items.
I haven't tested AD but regular inventory items and professions assets will go into the void when claimed from mail with a full inventory. So, it is possible that Ad could disappear also.
The overflow bag does not work properly/at all with the mail system. It is fully a game problem and not user error. There is no warning that the inventory is full, but the items will simply disappear when claimed. Lost an HR Dragon Bone main hand and off-hand purchased from the AH last Wed or Thurs and I knew about the bug. Just forgot to check my inventory first. But, no player should need to check first. But as it stands, never collect mail with a full inventory.
They should replace the items for the OP. Unfortunately, the TOS protects them and not us.
If you hit take item in mail box and your inventory is full the little pack will not disappear. And if you try to delete a message with an attachment you get a warning message. I learned the hard way as I would mass buy them go pickup to resell. Once my inventory was full but I was so used to just x y a, to take item and delete message that I didn't catch the error message about deleting an attachment. Until I had lost about 5 mounts. I'm very careful now always ensure the bag disappears and that the item pops up in The bottom right as received before deleting message.
This is really strange, because when I've accidentally tried to pull items out of the mail before with a full inventory it actually gives me a message indicating it is an invalid action. The items then just sit still attached to the mail message they came with.
I have never experienced what you're talking about, and frankly am glad I haven't. Can't imagine losing a big AD purchase from the TTH because of a full inventory.
Not to say this has not happened on more than one occasion, but it does seem really rare. Are you absolutely sure you didn't hit the wrong button by mistake and delete something? I have accidentally hit the "Finish Now" option on professions more than I care to admit. So I know how easy it is to hit the wrong thing.
OP I dunno what happened to your AD or your items. I could speculate like you and everyone else, but I won't.
I'll say this, I've been a group that beat Tiamat with about 7 seconds left, yet we got the fail message. I've had multiple runs we were winning get hit with massive lag, and we ended up losing because of it.
Did the DEVs WANT this to happen to me? No, of course not. Did they want you coming up missing items or AD IF it happened? No of course not. Do they want bugs in their game? No of course not. You are acting like someone is sitting there with a button to cheat you and doing it on purpose which is not the case.
Was I upset when those things happened to me? Yes, but not at the Devs. It just sucked that it happened at all, but I got over it and played more.
Why? I enjoy playing. I REALLY enjoy playing, enough to put up with some bugs and some really toxic players and give the DEVs a chance to fix all that.
If you are having fun the 160K AD means nothing. If you are not having fun, then I dunno why you would play anything.
I personally have wasted tens of thousands of AD from being in a hurry and clicking the FINISH now task... on accident... oh man was I irritated. Was that the DEVs fault? Nope, all mine.
My point my friend is enjoy the game, that should be the #1 goal and reason to play a game right? 160K if you have a max level character... you can make that up in a week tops. If you were planning on quitting next week and only wanted to play one more week, then what does it matter? If you were planning on playing a lot more... then 1 more week doesn't matter in the long run. Right? Cheer up buttercup.
Besides all that gear is about to be irrelevant next month anyways. We get a TON more new cool content to play at that point. YES!!!! More areas to explore, more new things to see, an entirely new class the Paladin and much much more... more content than you can get through in months. Again, the 160K AD is a drop in the bucket.
@gamingemini Oh I hear ya. I think they are literally swamped. I don't think they expected 2 million new customers. It's taken a couple days to get responses on other issues I've spoken with them about. If we keep supporting the game, I think their customer support staff will grow.
Take WOW for example, when it was new their support was very lacking, now that it had a consistent revenue stream for years... they were able to correctly estimate how many CSRs they needed to handle issues. So, now you get much quicker responses in that game, well I haven't played in some months but I could tell it was fast and streamlined. The longer NW exists on XB1, only a couple months at the moment, the better it will get.
The staff can go to the bean counters and say look we have the income to support more CSRs etc... I am confident it will get better if people stick with it. A lot better.
I am happily shocked we are getting all the others mods so fast... that much content all at once is going to send the customer reports through the roof, so I think it's going to get worse before it gets better. Room for a lot more bugs etc...
I hope I'm wrong. Let's all hope I am very very wrong... uhg.
Having done IT work for a long time I can say this, without a record or somekind of data sorting feature that records every single transaction and what happens after the transactions is over, which seems to be the era your issue happened in, there is no way a CSR could know. Most companies aren't fond of giving over that type of metrics to CSR... customer service reps. It probably isn't implemented for the XB1 in that fashion yet. I bet it is coming.
Still sucks that whatever happened to you. I feel your pain, at least you didn't cause it yourself like I did with my finish now mistake... LOL
edited for absurd typos, that's what I get for a rush job.
I also work IT and have for many years. The company I work for does not allow technical data stored on the servers to be accessed by CSRs. Someone from my department will receive the request to pull the data. One of us then pulls the data and delivers the information requested. As Tyrzn has said these guys are swamped. The amount of support tickets for the CSRs alone has to be huge. Then think about the IT guys who have to research bugs and restore items, I am certain there are far less of them than CSRs. Where I work we have 10 in my department and service several hundred people.
Not sure what happened to your AD or items and hopefully it will not happen again. If it happens again, report it again and hopefully in time you will get the explanation you are after.

Quit deleting your ad in the mail problem solved. Ive not heard of this happening to anyone. People try to scam to much on here. Look at the orange artifacts on the market i.e lantern, waters, otofm... you think those are supposed to be there? No, people deleted artifacts they had and said it was "lost" and were given unbound duplicates.

I'm sure that does happen, but I'm not trying to scam anyone. I didn't delete my ad and my inventory wasn't full when I tried to buy dragon bone. I've had a dragon drop an unbound artifact before. Anyway, thanks for everyone's help.
Why are there so many comments on this about crazy stuff. The error message from your dragon bone purchase is simple, you tried to buy something that was already bought. Happens to me often. Your ad didnt get taken from that purchase, the purchase never happened.
The other thing seems pretty straight forward too if I'm reading your comments correctly. You said someone "bid" on your item. Then it's not sold. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Dem feels...that moment when you're trying to figure out just how much AD you spent on that by accident...
"Oh gawd, how much time was left?!"
Who knows, maybe I did. But when I bought db, I know I seen the pop up that said could not perform this action.
