PVP Proposition to balance Devoted Cleric and Oathbound Paladin!

Everyone knows that playing PVP against unkillable DC and OP is really not fun at all.

1- I think that maybe a good way to correct the situation could be to cut down the healing power of the abilities to 60% compare to 100% of what they are today.

2- Then add 10% healing power to the abilities for each opponent players (2 to 5) within 20 feet:
• 2 opponent players adds 10% healing power to the abilities
• 3 opponent players adds 20% healing power to the abilities
• 4 opponent players adds 30% healing power to the abilities
• 5 opponent players adds 40% healing power to the abilities for a total of 100% like they are today

    Hold that thought. There are changes lined up to go live on arpen to affect Negation and buffs, and certain personal shields respecting healing depression as well as having a damage absorbed limit, on the 11th iirc. See how that pans out first.

    I like when DC has got Negation, you can kill him fast 2 vs 1 with CW or HR. Try to catch DC with P. Elven battle....:)

    On an off-note, none of that's gonna mean anything and there isn't going to be any changes to this miserable QOL of PvP unless the queues are seperated and trollmades are disallowed in casual pug PvP.

    A krapton of discussions and still doesn't matter. The trollguilds still don't get it.

    Erm, DC's already have 'righteousness' which effectively reduces healing on themselves by about 70%. Not to mention healing depression, which reduces incoming healing and temp HP by 50% in PvP once hit.

    So you're proposing another nerf to healing powers? Some DCs only heal and buff. Depending on the opponent, clerics can be killed easily enough. By reducing their healing power even more, it will not balance out the playing field, but will rather make these DCs fodder to more players (likely those who are weaker geared or do not understand the rotations to bring down a cleric).

    So it's the dodging mechanic you are referring to? Any player which has a stunning/prone/rooting/disrupting power can prevent the cleric from dodging at the right times. Using the right rotations will bring down a cleric.

    Increasing AS cooldown will negatively impact their PvE capabilities - the party members they are trying to protect with Astral Shield do not always have dodge or use it at the right time. There is always about a 4-5 second lag time before another shield can be placed.

    This change will be negative to the DCs that do not PvP.

    My comments:

    You are asking for a lot of nerfs for a lot of classes but not a word about your main class CW.

    I’m asking to correct very bad PVP situation, I’m not asking for any nerf but corrections for bad implementation at the developing stage.

    And the most important I'm asking for real suggestions and fair opinions regarding my comment.

    You only ask to correct another classes, not your main, What about CW shield or CW 66% ignored tenacity?

    What about repel some classes from point 1 to 3? lol Why the CC resist does not affect the repel's distance? Any word about that bad pvp situation?

    No over the top stuff on CW, and we are still balance when it comes to 1 on 1 PVP (if the 2 opponents have same level of gear).

    Anyway what's your point, don't we all think that unkillable characters have to stop.

    I’m just suggesting something that can scale the healing to the number of players they have around them, so it could be a fair fight. The % is just to start a discution.

    FYI thats getting changed in the next mod. There will be not more 0 0 0 0 for DCs, but more life for them from AS.

    Anyway we have healing depression, that already hurts DCs so they use what they can to compete in pvp. Again, check the NCL leaderboard class result and search for DCs or OPs.

    Also healing depression will affect OPs, with lay on hands, temp hp will change, we will have a personal shield, etc. arpen will affect passive abilities (also negation)..

    Anyway if you have problems with DC and OP being CW, that can repel outside the point or outside another things...

    Anyway as far as we all know and agreed that something as to be done I'm ok with it.

    You have just exposed that you dont know anything about the upcomming changes, about how other classes works, and you still request for nerfs for things that you dont understand. Its not allowed to ask for nerfs in the forums. Read the rules man and stop your nerf requesting madness.

    I don’t know about the upcoming change. I just know and stand to my comments:

    They are not unkillable.

    If you cant kill a class that is not make that class unkillable. Again your selfish point of view for the classes in neverwinter.

    DCs are not immortal but those with Elven Battle are close to it....

    There are incomming changes.

    Anyway I dont know if my brain is cheating me, but I remember times when nobody wanted a DC into their dom group.

    IMHO a heal must survive in 1 vs 1 without problems, at least a very long time.

    Lets see what M7 and M7 SH pvp brings.

    I'm only suggesting that OP and DC healing capability should be scale depending of the number of opponents that are around them.

    Unkillable DC and OP is an overstatement, high gear level are neer unkillable that I know.

    Already there are skills for some classes that scale temp hp / healing depending of the number of opponents.

    You are an ignorant,

    Also you said that healers have 100% healing atm. You just say things without a middle game knowledge.

    You must be very frustrated in pvp to start this.
