Essence of Aggression

Essence of Aggression, or EoA, originated in Beta on the Mindflayer shard. We are one of the few original guild communities that continues to grow and thrive in Neverwinter. If you do not know who we are, then you most likely have not been PvPing. We are a solid endgame guild of great players who love to both PvP and PvE, though we have a big focus towards PvP. We currently have approximately 450 characters, with 10-40 people active at any given time.

As of today, April 18, 2016, we are recruiting level 70:
1) Guardian Fighters
2) Great Weapon Fighters
3) Devoted Clerics
4) Trickster Rogues
5) Control Wizards
6) Hunter Rangers
7) Scourge Warlocks
8) Oathbound Paladins

Gear Requirements:
- Minimum weapon enchantment quality: Perfect
- Minimum armor enchantment quality: Perfect
- Lowest enchantment rank on your character: 10
- Minimum artifact rank: Legendary
- Minimum artifact equipment rank: Legendary
- At least one Mythic artifact
Don’t worry! If you’re close to our minimum gear requirements but don’t quite meet them, we will still consider your application. We look at more than just gear in our recruitment process.

Discord is required (free download). Not only must you have it installed, but you must also be active on our Discord server. We do not accept players without microphones- you need to be able to talk. Do not apply if you cannot get Discord.

We have a two-week trial period for players whose applications are accepted. You will be expected to be active on our Discord, get accustomed to playing with our guild, and follow all of our rules. If you cause any trouble during this trial period or we feel you are not a correct fit for Essence of Aggression, we will not keep you in our guild.

Please know that we have no tolerance for whiners, babies, drama queens, leavers, griefers, gossips, exploiters, annoyingly codependent players, plain-old jerks or anyone with a sense of entitlement. If you somehow get into our guild and we find out you fit into one of those categories, you can expect to be kicked.

    It's been over a year now since I joined EoA, and I can certainly tell that it was one of the best decisions in my NW life.
    It was a year full of pvp, pve, trolling, jumping around in PE, guild contests, screenshots, pvp, love, mount humping, pvp... and MOAR PVP. I haven't had any big issues with Officers/Guildmates, they're always kind and helpful. If you value fun over everything else and you're looking for a good endgame guild... apply to EoA \(*o*)/

    sorry to let you down guys. no, im not bashing you, but some of your new members are real... you know what i mean. you guys should recruit players based not only on what gear they have but also some modesty and some lessons in behavior!

    the fact that you are in eoa, does not mean you are superior to other lesser geared players, some of them can kill you based on skill only, yes you will be surprised.
    it happens tell that to some of your new members.

    We've always held strict behavioral guidelines for our members. If a member of EoA trashtalks you or is unkind, please message me or another officer. We do our best to filter out bad attitudes, but we can only fix what we are aware of!

    Heyo, I just wanted to say that my CW ended up partied with an EoA GF named Big Mawnsta during a BID on the weekend and he was very kind, initially inviting me so he could toss me a Wheel-heal (which he did a couple of times through the match). It's always refreshing to run into someone who is experienced in PvP being pleasant to someone who is considerably less so, so I just wanted to give a positive shout-out to a nice guy.

    Essence of Aggression is currently having Open Recruitment Week!

    If you meet our minimum gear requirements, then you can be a part of EoA without filling out an application.

    Gear Requirements:
    - Minimum weapon enchantment quality: Perfect
    - Minimum armor enchantment quality: Perfect
    - Lowest enchantment rank on your character: 10
    - Minimum artifact rank: Legendary
    - Minimum artifact equipment rank: Legendary
    - At least one Mythic artifact

    Open Recruitment will end on Saturday, April 23rd.

    Open Recruitment Weeks!

    Hello,

    It's time for Open recruitment folks. Since the current leadership has changed we would like to thank previous leadership for all they had done for Essence of Aggression for their dedication and passion.

    Let us begin with introduction of new leadership!

    Guild Leaders:

    We would like to start with OPEN RECRUITMENT EVENT which will last for about two weeks long, and any member rank 5 or higher will be able to invite into EoA if you meet our minimum gear requirements.
    What are the requirements to join?

    Gear Requirements:
    - Minimum weapon enchantment quality: Perfect
    - Minimum armor enchantment quality: Perfect
    - Lowest enchantment rank on your character: 10
    - Minimum artifact rank: Legendary
    - Minimum artifact equipment rank: Legendary
    - At least one Mythic artifact

    Obviously Skill > Gear so if applicant is willing to be tested depending on type of recruitment – PvE or PvP we are willing to do such tests when appropriate mentors are available.

    We are currently looking for active players both PvE and PvP with more orientation towards PvP. We create competitive environment in EoA in future.

    Please note that Teamspeak (aka TS) is essential for joining EoA regardless of PvE or PvP. Interaction is a key component of the guild.

    can definitely say being part of EoA was the most fun I had in NW.. now that i have some free time, i'll start playing NW again.
