Crab: It looks the same as Malacostra (The HE’s boss in The Drowned Shore) and the mount Giant Crab. Greenpeace is jealous because they can’t recycle as much as Cryptic does.
I must admit, I did giggle at this!

more Shocking Execution, more 1~2 shots, more complains soon..... @_@
New mounts would be game breaking, if they go live and would cause a huge uproar.
Now imagine any AP specific paragon tree equipped with such a huge AP gain mount and a legendary or mythic DC artifact and some nice AP kits. Two words: game breaking.
I can only hope they are a bad design idea and will parish as a bad thought into the virtual depths.

The human race is a herd. Here we are, unique, eternal aspects of consciousness with an infinity of potential, and we have allowed ourselves to become an unthinking, unquestioning blob of conformity and uniformity. A herd. Once we concede to the herd mentality, we can be controlled and directed by a tiny few. And we are.

I think they will release it OP on purpose so make more players spend $ on keys and after several weeks or months they will balance it like all other broken content.
The principle to let Mounts to give such powers is wrong, especially such mounts are gated by the key lottery. They tried movement, then they want to try other stats and action point power. I suggest they stop at movement stat and give players ways to upgrade their mounts. The way they plan will only hurt their income not the other way around.
If any of those mount goes live the whole thing is going downhill.

Knowing how the devs work... I wouldn't be surprised if they increase the amount of AP needed for the dailies, for several reasons.

I think the bigger story is the new artifact weapons and other BiS gear that makes, basically, everything we go in m6 completely obsolete. I've come to the conclusion that Cryptic must make most of it's money on new players and therefore doesn't care a whit about player churn. It has no interest, or need, to keep existing players happy or to maintain a fun game because, I suppose, new players will come in, drop a bunch of money to get BiS, play a while, then leave after a few months when they realize they wasted their money and have to start over.. wash rinse repeat. Those of us who have been here a while are probably not paying much - maybe some, personally I haven't paid real money in some time since I believe in paying for value, and since m4 and ToD started, I haven't really seen the value in paying for Neverwinter. I like the friends I've made in Neverwinter, and the game itself is easy and fun enough as a distraction, but m4 and m5 weren't very good, m6 was a disaster and while I love the idea of m7, it's not looking so hot either. The idea is awesome, but I am no eager to see the effort I put into getting back up after the massive m6 disaster being proved a complete waste.

And from what I hear through the grape vine is that we are able to trade in our current MH/OH for the newer one's at our current rank.
Do you mean to ask:
1) Why would I need 4k ArP?
or
2) Why would they put such stat on a lockbox only mount?
The answer to both questions is PVP
1) In PVP the more ArP, the better. And with and extra 4k you can allocate stats to other areas.
2) Hardcore PVPers will buy anything that will give them advantage, and frankly casuals cant tickle them now anyway. In PVE this bonus isn't that big (its still helpful if you want to allocate stats to other areas, but much less valuable) so you wont be seeing "lf1m with axe beak" in lfg any time soon.

It is not a lockbox mount... it is bought in the stronghold.
Atwil "At" - Tiefling TR / Saardush - Black Dragonborn GWF / White - Tiefling OP
So these will drop from lockboxes in Strongholds? Why did they say that the guild mounts will be better? Better than ?????
Maybe they are talking about the extra 20% mount bonus speed boon that you can get when you upgrade a specific structure to rank 10. There's nothing related to a guild mount so far.

It's a lockbox mount:

I guess my question was more rhetorical.
But with these mounts confirmed a phrase I've been saying for a while: "pay for lucky, and maybe win"
You're going to have more people feeling elitist about randomly getting a lucky lockbox drop. Awesome.
Why not make these mounts where if you're guild completes a curtain task or feat in strongholds that's pretty hard to do and you unlock buying the mount? Or you have a boss that spawns randomly and if you beat it as a guild then it drops?

Did.. did you really just suggest that? Unlocking getting these mounts through in-game achievements without having to use ZEN or lockbox keys? If you are really suggesting that, then PWE is laughing at you.
I don't mind the mounts or any of the stuff. If you like to complain then it just gives you more to complain about .... (Not saying anyone in the thread) we all know the zone chat complainers are gonna be off the chain.
Like any adjustment.... We will all roll with the punches and make the most of the situation. This won't be our first nor our last.
I bought my mount ages ago, and the only reason I choose it was that it looked tacky. At least now I will have a reason why I have a mount.

Thank you but this is my own blog, it's not related to NWO:Uncensored in any way.
I do agree that j0shi does a great work with his blog.
If they are just going to dump new ones over and over.. make it 100% return back. So we dont lose any rp, SICK AND TIRED of RP and need for MORE RP.
There is enough grind gates in this game.. they can reduce one of the most annoying entries they ever did.
