Before patch amor and jewel kits gave like 100 points of ilvl each, now it's more like 20 points each, so here you go your missing ilvl points. Everybody lost some so i dont see any reason why anyone should care.

Seeing as there are so MANY things that are messed up... I expect a lot of down time from the game... for a lot of us... very soon. So they can clean up the mess.

Frankly, I don't trust them to make changes for my character.

The question is, is the TIL level difference between before and after intended? If it is, it's probably a fix to TIL inflation. On the other hand it will impair some people from getting the required TIL for t2s for example. Avg TIL score will have to be revised it seems.
The Jewel/Armor kit IL score was way too high, so adjusting it down to 35 makes sense.
IL requirements for dungeons and stuff are way too low anyways, so no adjustments needed, rather adjust them up.
You just cannot meaningfully contribute in most dungeons at the entry requirement IL.
Good change. I recommended it a while ago. Players were abusing it to enter T1, T2 and Tiamath instances with very low gear, only because they had few kits.

I agree with the change, but I think it should be written in patch notes. Major kits gave WAY too much iLvL compared their stats.
As for people not meeting dungeon requirements - thats not true, Major kits were expensive enough to put them in your final armor, not some green/blue temporary stuff, people that didnt meet the 1600/2000 requirement simply didnt have them in the gear = they are unaffected.
Actually I think this change will help average geared people to find parties - the difference between BiS and Average is now smaller and iLvL requirements when looking for party should drop. And average geared people didnt have kits anyway
No just to make them aware so they can fix it. It will be harder on the lower Item Level people as they may now not qualify for some Dungeons.
How? All it was was the kits that were giving inflated iLvls to begin with. It won't be harder to qualify for dungeons since all it takes is buying a few blues off the auction house at level 70 and you will be 1600 easily. Qualifying for tier 2 dungeons wasn't hard either, since all it really took was me getting my tier 1 gear.
Sorry about the lack of warning that your total item level would be affected. We used the item level on reinforcement kits to indicate the items on which they could be installed. Lowering that level also affected the item level contribution from the kits.
Overall, I think this is a good thing as even though Total Item Level is just a very general indication of equipment level adding almost 1000 points for just the stats given by reinforcement kits is way too much.

I have used no kits, and I've lost 0 IL.

It's a good fix regardless, +100 stamina regen for example, shouldn't be worth more than some other stats.
