Patcher can't connect to server

Am i the only one that can't connect to the game. My patcher trys to connect 5 times and then say "no connection available".

    i can not log into any US East server all day but as usuall everyone else can

    I am done with my work today, i only wanted my daily shot of neverwinter and not go on a cold turkey....

    hm patience this is going on all day since my afternoon yet it evening while my friend is beeing waiting me to log in no other way to contact at the moment :/

    Take it patch server is down for many other people as well? Hard to tell because these forums are a mess.

    I'm getting Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate can't connect as well. C'mon, Cryptic, a little help here?

    Sadly the people for Cryptic rarely read the forums. They are busy doing other stuff, which is understandable. It would be nice if they had someone on forums that could acknowledge these issues to put people at ease. Six words, "We are aware of the problem," would be enough to satisfy most people.

    You cannot connect when server is off !
    So think before posting and wait for them to turn it on after maintenance is finished.

    You know that usually you can patch while maintenance is going on right? Just the server is not up to play. This is not a case where people are trying to log in and the game server not being up. This time the actual patcher is down as well (for some maybe all, no news on that). It may be intended, it may not be. It is out of the norm however. That is why people are reporting it and why they want to know if it is intended or not.

    That can be true when only game server is off and patch server is on, but not when all servers are off because of whole new network is in maintenance (hense longer than normal 6 h).

    Good to know its not just me. Hopefully it'll be up before much longer, like some of the others here, I've just finished work hoping for a few hours of NW, especially if the double refinement is being added with the patch as previously promised :)

    Nope, not yet. NW Twitter post from 2:11 PM EDT said up to an hour from then, so possibly in the next half hour or so (from the time of this writing).

    <sigh> Time zones are hard. :(

    Most people have not read the whole internet, and I imagine most people also find it rather difficult to find anything in this new forum. Without a dev tracker or other such tool to easily find the info on this site, usually it is easier to ask a question and get a quick response.

    Our engineers need an additional hour for the network maintenance. Lord Neverember apologizes for the delay.

    **edit - it's really hard to find a general color tag to show a url. Might help if the darn background color showed up in the preview at least. <grumble>

    Launcher still can't connect some 24min after the game is supposed to be back up. If we can't load the launcher, we can't patch the game.
