Items Disappear after "You Are Taking Damage Bug"

My Ranger was hit with the "you are taking damage" flashing message at the campfire in Skyhold. I had to log out and restart the game. When I did, the nasty lizards had stolen my armor, helmet, necklace, and boots. I was only Level 40, so these were not expensive items, but they did have $5-10 worth of enchantments.
I filed a support ticket, and have been told items could perhaps be replaced if I knew the exact name, but enchantments are gone forever and cannot be replaced.
My feedback: Customer Service needs to revisit this policy. It is very poor service. Sure, this was a small amount of money, but what if a person lost a level 60 Grand Warden Armor Piece with a Perfect Vorpal Enchantment and Rank 10 Radiant?
