I have been receiving a fatal error after loading the patch today. Here is what I keep getting. Any idea on what I need to do so I can log in and play?
Slightly different issue but since I am a new member I can't create my own posts. My Neverwinter crashes on the first logo screen after starting the game and crashes back to the desktop. I also get a error saying my direct3d drivers fail and it tries to force me to re-patch the game. Here is the odd part though.... it literally only does this through Steam. If I launch the game through Arc it updates and plays just fine, no crashing and I can play for hours. I launch through Steam? Crash to desktop at first Neverwinter logo. Both are using the same installation and updates though...
I just deleted the local content from my Steam folder to do a full reinstall and it removed the Arc version as well. I think something is wrong with the code when patching through the launcher and it is interfering with Steam. I checked the file integrity and tried to verify the files like 5 times today and it didn't fix the problem, the only way I could play was through Arc. Anyone else having this problem?
EDIT: I should also point out that I was playing just fine all yesterday night (5/27/15), it just started this morning after I attempted to update.

I think I figured it out? I reinstalled but that fixed nothing, so I launched the game in windowed safe mode and I was able to get in. I then went to options and changed the direct X video card settings from 11 down to 9 and applied the settings. I adjusted the graphics to my liking and saved the settings. Game now works fine.
As for Ops problem, I don't know how to fix it. If you haven't already, try verifying the files, launch in safe mode or try starting it windowed?
