Icy Terrain doesn't have a stun component. It roots enemies and adds stacks of Chill.

heres my problem with this if u have a character with raw power u should have next to 0 for defence or half the lifepoints to any other class. currently there is no trade off that's why their overpowered. they have the best dps in the game with none of the negative that the other characters have.
i don't hate the character i just hate how its being abused i could make one and be like everyone else but that's how pc pvp died and pve is dead as well because no one wants any other class because that one is far to oped.
if they can stun lets say they stun but remove 50% of the damage so they become a team support class like a cleric i see this is a win win doesn't make them oped and it makes them supportive :-)

Control Wizard is class who has got less control than other classes for example: HR,DC,GF, and this is really funny.

Yes, it can be deflected, and classes which are based on high deflection chance are very resistant for CC and it lasts like on my movie, maybe not even 0,5 sec. that's why i said that the control of control wizard is worth not much.

The Shadow of Demise glitch is what's nasty for GWF's, as they have no way to dodge the actual SoD proc. Its total HAMSTER and everyone knows it. Its not working as intended and eventually will get fixed.
You see GWF's on Xbox getting smashed by baddies using the SoD glitch, not because the class is over powered.
I can name one single GWF in Xbox that plays his class well, and I play PvP 100% of my time in game. Meaning I have run into hundreds of GWF's. They all do the same thing, and have the same mentality. Stand still, smash buttons.
99.9% of GWF's I fight against, I don't even waste encounters on them. I let them walk into my Duelist Flurry > Dodge Away, Start DF and let them walk into it again. Rinse and repeat 10 seconds later there dead.
Point being the skilled GWF's who build properly, spec properly, and play properly, are pretty much non-existent on Xbox. The only thing that kills them fast is a glitched mechanic.
Again. We all know how dumb the SoD glitch is. The Devs know about it, the community knows about it, lets stop basing an entire class, because of one bugged mechanic.

The GWF is such a headache man. I just started pvp with my alt, went iron vanguard sentinel, and i get absolutely shredded lol, grinding for that grim is gonna be a nasty time. I feel like I can't kill anything.
I don't blame most of the GWF, they are severely handicapped in pvp imo. You have to be geared to the teeth to survive and be a mediocre success. I'll swing one at will, pop one encounter, and every class, within 1 second seems to be lightyears away laughing at me with their ranged attacks. And coming from my HR main POV, they are by far the easiest class to kill in pvp.
Tell me one thing. I may agree regarding the video, but the truth is: moving around with a GWF fighting a good rogue, does not matter the rogue is just delaying the death for a few seconds (good in the hope to hold the node a little longer), but there is zero of what a GWF can do now against a TR. Don't get me wrong, I even think it is cool have a class chain and gwf be food of TRs, but the problem is not that, is how fast is that. If DPS build, just dies faster. If tank build, sacrifice some DPS, and some of these TRs "tank better than a gwf and the tank gwf still dies fast because probably all of the TRs builds now have at least one feat that has armor pen included aka ignore unsoppeble and make the high gwf dr doesnt exist.
Dont forget our only viable CC now is frontline surge, which got the damage reduced and is a 17~18 cooldown skill, come and get is cool, but by the time we will use the next encounter the tr is already free and dodging. Takedown is low dmg and now it has stun, and shorter cc duration, so a TR with just a few tenacity will just break free from it. It is a very challenge fighting, but even a survival build of TRs, using sod glitch or not will eventually break the GWF.
The problem is that GWF is a tank/semi-tank class. They nerfed the cc and gap close skills of GWF way too much to try to overcome the TRs survival skills when they already have ItC and a high deflection severity even out of itc.
Furthermore, as I said earlier, a GWF is a tank class. It has a defense almost as good as GF, and a similar DR (I got 48% DR, plus the pvp resistance and 45k hp) and some trs still melt. I also have unstoppable that is supposed to give me 40~80% DR for its duration. But, everything I mentioned above is useless against the trs builds nowadays.
Shadow of Demise has 100% armor pen and melt me (even moving or running away, GWF is easy to do damage, and I am not leaving the node and go to another point half a mile away just to avoid the damage and give off points for free, that would be as bad as dying). Also, I cant even time the Unstoppable before the dot thicks because the dot ignores my unstoppable DR. If it was only SoD, but even a pc build some trs have been using nowadays sabo, their skill have also armor pen and kill me just as fast. I fought a TR other day, he has 40k hp, 1.4k+ regen, high deflection, and he can just tank me standing still while he throw his skill at me and eventually kill me because of all these armor pen encounters that make the point of having a fighter classes with high dr questionable.
having these features to increase armor pen make the class op i believe, since they can even stack power on offense slots or recovery for less cooldowns without having to worry about stacking darks to fight fighters/dc.
Perhaps if they removed these features of breaking DR of the class it would be more fair, after all, for me. what is the point of building a fighter class with a high dr, a tab skill that gives me dr, if all that simply doesnt exist for TRs?
Perhaps that explains why in Mod 6 they made tenacity give armor pen resistance...
but it would surely be nice if they did something about it before that.

I believe GWF is doing a great job on pvp. We make the lives of HRs a hell for sure (the gwfs using proper build and gear). It is balanced against all other classes, with equal chances of kill or be killed (dont try to kill a good DC, you wont). but when it comes to TRs, a good tr, using SoD or not, it not much what to do. the class is broken in which it has too many features that give armor pen to its feats, making them be able to stack power on offense slots for even more damage. This makes the point of having high dr and unstoppable useless. I think this is what is breaking the balance for TRs, is the fact that they destroy fighters because they already have a high damage and armor pen features, and the fact that they can also kill the other squishier classes for obvious reasons

If they listened to us years ago when we asked for Diminishing Returns on CC, none of these HAMSTER changes would have ever happened. Instead they nerfed CC encounters into the ground, now making some class vs class(gwf vs tr for example)near impossible match ups because of the things you said.

I think there are multiple ways to fix thing, and as a class that been nerfed, I would really feel bad for trs players if they did that like what they did to GWFs. so you are right, perhaps it is not about nerfing, but giving the other classes more tools.
Yes, they did. I heard the new pvp set tenacity gives up to 80% armor pen resistance. Now more than ever it is useless to stack darks on offense slots. but darks will still be viable for defense slots for life steal (the most important defense stats on mod 6) because they also reworked it and regen.

Its not that you "can't". Its just there are certain encounters and at-wills you want to avoid, even as a tank. Duelist Flurry being probably the number 1 to avoid.
1) Great damage per swing. (There are 2 swings, then a flurry)
2)During the Flurry part of the at-will, the TR cannot be CC'd.(its not in the tool-tip its just always been like that)
3) The flurry part of the at-will has a "chance" to stack bleeds. These bleeds stack up to a maximum of 10.
4)TR's in Stealth have 100% Crit chance. A smart TR will use his Stealth right as the Flurry begins, and all hits, as well as the bleeds will ALL crit. Granted resistances and such of course applies so the crits may be small, that is not always the case. I frequently have 5k Crit bleeds on enemys. The dmg is insane if you allow a TR to stack these on you.
Only a silly person will stand still allowing the TR to stack bleeds on them.

tr was op because of the low health. only trs will defend it and say l2play. because believe me i tried and i did take down many trs but i shouldnt have to outplay my opponent to match them.

Point being the skilled GWF's who build properly, spec properly, and play properly, are pretty much non-existent on Xbox. The only thing that kills them fast is a glitched mechanic.

I don't blame most of the GWF, they are severely handicapped in pvp imo. You have to be geared to the teeth to survive and be a mediocre success. I'll swing one at will, pop one encounter, and every class, within 1 second seems to be lightyears away laughing at me with their ranged attacks. And coming from my HR main POV, they are by far the easiest class to kill in pvp.

I may agree regarding the video, but the truth is: moving around with a GWF fighting a good rogue, does not matter the rogue is just delaying the death for a few seconds (good in the hope to hold the node a little longer), but there is zero of what a GWF can do now against a TR. Don't get me wrong, I even think it is cool have a class chain and gwf be food of TRs, but the problem is not that, is how fast is that. If DPS build, just dies faster. If tank build, sacrifice some DPS, and some of these TRs "tank better than a gwf and the tank gwf still dies fast because probably all of the TRs builds now have at least one feat that has armor pen included aka ignore unsoppeble and make the high gwf dr doesnt exist.
Dont forget our only viable CC now is frontline surge, which got the damage reduced and is a 17~18 cooldown skill, come and get is cool, but by the time we will use the next encounter the tr is already free and dodging. Takedown is low dmg and now it has stun, and shorter cc duration, so a TR with just a few tenacity will just break free from it. It is a very challenge fighting, but even a survival build of TRs, using sod glitch or not will eventually break the GWF.
The problem is that GWF is a tank/semi-tank class. They nerfed the cc and gap close skills of GWF way too much to try to overcome the TRs survival skills when they already have ItC and a high deflection severity even out of itc.
Furthermore, as I said earlier, a GWF is a tank class. It has a defense almost as good as GF, and a similar DR (I got 48% DR, plus the pvp resistance and 45k hp) and some trs still melt. I also have unstoppable that is supposed to give me 40~80% DR for its duration. But, everything I mentioned above is useless against the trs builds nowadays.
Shadow of Demise has 100% armor pen and melt me (even moving or running away, GWF is easy to do damage, and I am not leaving the node and go to another point half a mile away just to avoid the damage and give off points for free, that would be as bad as dying). Also, I cant even time the Unstoppable before the dot thicks because the dot ignores my unstoppable DR. If it was only SoD, but even a pc build some trs have been using nowadays sabo, their skill have also armor pen and kill me just as fast. I fought a TR other day, he has 40k hp, 1.4k+ regen, high deflection, and he can just tank me standing still while he throw his skill at me and eventually kill me because of all these armor pen encounters that make the point of having a fighter classes with high dr questionable.
having these features to increase armor pen make the class op i believe, since they can even stack power on offense slots or recovery for less cooldowns without having to worry about stacking darks to fight fighters/dc.
Perhaps if they removed these features of breaking DR of the class it would be more fair, after all, for me. what is the point of building a fighter class with a high dr, a tab skill that gives me dr, if all that simply doesnt exist for TRs?
Perhaps that explains why in Mod 6 they made tenacity give armor pen resistance...
but it would surely be nice if they did something about it before that.

I believe GWF is doing a great job on pvp. We make the lives of HRs a hell for sure (the gwfs using proper build and gear). It is balanced against all other classes, with equal chances of kill or be killed (dont try to kill a good DC, you wont). but when it comes to TRs, a good tr, using SoD or not, it not much what to do. the class is broken in which it has too many features that give armor pen to its feats, making them be able to stack power on offense slots for even more damage. This makes the point of having high dr and unstoppable useless. I think this is what is breaking the balance for TRs, is the fact that they destroy fighters because they already have a high damage and armor pen features, and the fact that they can also kill the other squishier classes for obvious reasons

I don't think TR's need changing, I think they should bring back the way GWF's used to be. For the life of me I cant understand why they ever messed with them.

Biggest problem I guess I've seen was people crying that GWF's were OP during this time. Which they weren't, just bad players crying about losing to skilled players.
If they listened to us years ago when we asked for Diminishing Returns on CC, none of these HAMSTER changes would have ever happened. Instead they nerfed CC encounters into the ground, now making some class vs class(gwf vs tr for example)near impossible match ups because of the things you said.
The Devs in NW have never been savvy when it comes to PvP, you and I both know that. Its nice they listen to the player base, but they listened to the wrong people unfortunately.
Having ArP resistance with Tenacity is going to be awesome. I didn't know they made that change.
oh yeah, i would love they brought them back like that. I think there are multiple ways to fix thing, and as a class that been nerfed, I would really feel bad for trs players if they did that like what they did to GWFs. so you are right, perhaps it is not about nerfing, but giving the other classes more tools.
Yes, they did. I heard the new pvp set tenacity gives up to 80% armor pen resistance. Now more than ever it is useless to stack darks on offense slots. but darks will still be viable for defense slots for life steal (the most important defense stats on mod 6) because they also reworked it and regen.

I'm a ****, but I don't see the common sense in the need for the GWF to kite a rogue. It should be the other way around? Granted I'm old and a former WoW player so I view this in the light of plate warrior vs. leather rogue and the rogue's only hope was to dodge tank in a toe to toe fight IIRC.

Its not that you "can't". Its just there are certain encounters and at-wills you want to avoid, even as a tank. Duelist Flurry being probably the number 1 to avoid.
1) Great damage per swing. (There are 2 swings, then a flurry)
2)During the Flurry part of the at-will, the TR cannot be CC'd.(its not in the tool-tip its just always been like that)
3) The flurry part of the at-will has a "chance" to stack bleeds. These bleeds stack up to a maximum of 10.
4)TR's in Stealth have 100% Crit chance. A smart TR will use his Stealth right as the Flurry begins, and all hits, as well as the bleeds will ALL crit. Granted resistances and such of course applies so the crits may be small, that is not always the case. I frequently have 5k Crit bleeds on enemys. The dmg is insane if you allow a TR to stack these on you.
Only a silly person will stand still allowing the TR to stack bleeds on them.

You show us your movie from Shadovmantle module- where GWF was a king of pvp, he could tank whole team and he was unkillable + he can smash easy every other classes and you said: "it was near perfectly balanced for me".
