Bidding on auction house with no buy out

why do people on xbox continue to put items in auction house with no buy out it makes no sense to me why make people dwait 4 days or more for items ? one person starts the bidding stuff and everyone else followings along sigh

    The problem is that the Search only shows 400 items....
    I have the same issue but with Selling. I've had 5 Marks of Potency all with 10k AD buyout ONLY; but yet they aren't visible in the Searches.... :mad:

    I still cant work the AH out! I was after a Mark of Power (Still need) Someone said to use the search feature but were is it? We can search for various things with the option menu on the side but I still cannot find a Mark of Power!

    First highlight the Refinement box, then from there choose "Rare" quality only. Then in the text box, literally type in Mark of Power. That works for me, hopefully for you too. Can't promise it will display good prices, but it should hopefully only display Marks of Power.

    Ugh, five days no buy out . Who needs it four days from now? I want a buy out mandatory. Even the 400 show no buyouts first? Why

    its alot of stuff they have to fix in this game auction house being one of them being kick in dungeons and whole other list of things

    I don't know why people don't use buyout prices. When I put something up I want to sell it as fast as I can. That's why I always define a buyout price because as a buyer I also look for them. I never bid because in my view it makes no sense. Worrying about my bid for 4 days? No, I want it now. If I have the money for it I just click and buy it, period. I don't think bidding works at all to be honest. I mean it's working technically, but I see no sense to it. Hoping for a much higher income via bidding is foolish in my opinion.

    The 400 limit on items in the auction house (particularly mark of potency) is that it doesn't show the ones that have been bid on as well as the ones with buyouts. Basically once you bid, no one can see the item anymore and can't out bid you. If you can find one ending in a reasonable amount of time you can still get a deal and get your item after a dungeon or a few rounds of domination.
