Time outs, verify files, and more! Someone help me!

So like the title said I keep getting timed out during log ins or during gameplay when traveling from zone to zone. Also, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game once already due to corrupted files from doing a verify files just about a week ago. Now I'm stuck doing the same thing. Is there something going wrong on my end that this keeps happening? Every time I want to play I feel like I'm rolling the dice as to whether or not this game will work today. Someone please help!

Computer specs: PC - 750gb HD, Windows 7, AMD 10 Processor, 4600M APU with Radeon HD graphics card. 2.30Ghz...

I'm using Cox internet as my internet provider with a Cisco router from about 3-5 years ago. Connections are fine across the board with the internet makes no difference whether I plug straight through the ethernet cable or not.
