The dmg from lostmauth set is only for the first tick of the power, the rest of the ticks dont proc it, it happens with the other classes too?
Because I have it on my HR and the set contributes to 4-5% of my total dmg, i see that other classes benefits more from from it, doing like 25% of their total dmg.
due to the bleed bug it seems they nerfed it for HRs only sadly i wasnt playing my HR during the bug time so i dont know if it was just massive damage or very fast damage around the power of what i see now. my set hits for around 2k-3k with a g.vorpal

So are hr's the only class that can't abuse, I mean use it wai?
Makes me glad I picked up the seldarine set, I guess. I was kinda kicking myself hearing about all that high damage goodness right after I went defensive instead of cramming more damage into that build. Why do they hate our class so much? I don't get it.

That makes the two of us. Was debating whether to pick Lostmauth or Seldarine - went with Seldarine just so I could solo most mini campaign dungeons.
Lostmauth still is part of my "end game" plan though. Nothing could go wrong with Crits.
The set bonus does around 8-10% of my overall dps for my HR with 60% crit chance, which seems WAI when you look at the overall damage graph.
Sadly the set bonus works a lot better for other classes, when it's HR that needs the damage buff the most right now. I hope if they decided to nerf this set, it doesn't hurt HR's damage anymore than it already is. It's still a good set to have, and it's a set made for us.
Imo, Seldarine set bonus needs a buff. I went with the idea of using Seldarine set since last mod, and start of this mod. But the amount of times that you get hit for >10% in a single attack, it's usually a massive hit that 2% max hp returned is so little. I couldn't get it to heal me for decent amount in any situation. I lost hope in this set, so I finally decided to dump my legendary Seldarine artifact into my Sigil of Controller. RIP... I still remember it being the MUST HAVE artifact for premades back then.

I have 11665 in crit, using all brutals mainly rank 11s and a few are 10s. I took the feat to get 5% more crit in range stance and I use squash soup for an extra 3% + 5% severity pretty much all the time.
Here's some data from my last dungeon run, I was running cordon, constricting, and hindering at the start, then swapped hindering out for fox as some ppl were dying a bit, and losing hindering isn't a big lost in dps, as you can see thorned roots effectiveness was less than half of everything else. I think if armor pen works for thorned roots, then our damage would be a bit more competitive with other dps class right now, but that effectiveness should be reduced in PvP as I think it'll be too strong.
