This is simply too much, the paladin class is way to over power, especially in PVP, they broke the entire sistem (a sistem already broken, I mean, 4 paladins and 1 cleric in one same team? seriously?).
I say this like a paladin user (mine is already 63) it's not funny anymore, literally the paladins are virtually unstoppable in PVP, especially when more than 2 of them are in the same team, please staff make a rebalance of the paladines, make them competitive and challenging, because they are destroying the fun in PVP.

The only thing that needs to change with pallies is the removal of a graphic for the prism feat. PVP is a garbage minigame balancing is already thrown out the window since launch of the base game. Besides, the level 70 PVP situation is completely opposite, pallies have no CC, flawed CC escape(wtf is with the sanctuary delay glitch), and their main damage dealing ability is a daily power and is fully useless at level 70(even in pve content).
They need to fix the bug where you can reset ALL of your cooldowns by pressing Tab 3 times with the Justice feat. People are using Dailies like 3-4 times in a row because of that.
Paladins don't need nerfing. They begin to suck hard at level 61 in Mod 6.
What's needed is the reinforcement of other classes. Why was SW so drastically destroyed so that in a week of 12-hour playing I have seen exactly 4 SWs running around in zones? Why was GF destroyed with their shield nerfs/bugs?
PvP is a whole different story from PvE. They really need to think up something different for pvp, like no matter what you have going in, you get set skills - 3 encounters, 2 dailies, etc - so each class-type is identical. Gear pvp purchases should minimally increase abilities. Then you'll find pvp relying more on skill and less on "haha my gear beat yours. I pwn." Face it, pvpers want to be good - not because of their gear or overpowered imbalances, but because their skills say they are.
Paladins in pve are about the only fun class left. Nerf them and why play?

You mean, like when there are 2 DC on one base? Or one DC and a GF? Or two GF? Or a permastealth TR? Or a permadaze TR with a GF? Or 2 GWF when all you have are CWs to fight them? Or when there are 2 HR? Or one HR that is just incredibly good?
Let Cryptic fix the bugs first, as this helps everyone and makes this game overall more enjoable. And after that, plead for a better queueing system for PVP that prevents weakly geared players (who try to get some glory for better equipment) getting paired to premade PVP BiS guilds. ANd then perhaps for a better solution to sudden disconnects, that prevent you from reentering your match, getting a penalty and not leeting anyone else fill your place.
It's exactly nonsense like this that makes me view PvP'ers as a whole with deep suspicion and a whole lot of irritation.
...but while the OP's gripe comes from stuff he's experienced in PvP, it seems he's neither got reasonable Lvl 70 PvP experience nor could he be called a PvPer.
He's talking about leveling PvP, and yeah, well, guess what... ...there's that new class everyone wants to get to 70 with a little bit of fun, so yeah, my 4th, 8th, 10th,... character, do I run it through all the treadmill of those questlines played 4, 8, 10 times already - or do I just give 'em some R8s, a greater or perfect weapon enchant, and buy snazzy gear, and some Xvim stuff to go with the Dragonslayer ring and Dragon Bone or Mulhorand, and go gank me some real newbies for XP, shizzles, and that "greatness" feeling of being the alpha doggie? Hmm...
Also, in addition to this sporty "twinking", there's probably way more Paladins in the climb to 70 than any other class. So, surely everybody in below-70 PvP right now will IMHO have a decent chance to get slain by Paladins more often than by any other class.
In Lvl 70 PvP the Paladin is IMHO rather on the weaker end of the spectrum - low general damage, CCresist mechanism is working spotty at best, no to little meaningful CC of their own, no dodging, and a daily as the only high damage skill - with enough damage to OSK a PvE-geared Lvl 70 char on a crit, but little excess slack, and this damage is divided among all reds in the AoE. Only strong-ish point are the AP regen for the Justadins, and the self heals for all...
I think this imbalance brought upon you by the tides of the game and the ways of your fellow gamemates is a cocatenation of unlucky circumstances with a pinch of bad timing and a few ladles of bad character. It'll pass, Paladin is fine.
