I no what it means but what can u do with it? Can u somehow convert it to game $ silver and gold?

Why? About the only thing you can buy with gold and silver is minor potions, skill kits, and removal of enchantments.

AD is "the" basic currency of the game -- go to any (nearly any) vendor and buy thingss, or buy things off the AH (Auction House).

If you really want you can even use the Zen Exchange and "sell" AD for Zen which is Cryptics real-world money to game money. - One way, you buy Zen with real money and spend it in the zen store for overly expensive items that you could have bought on the AH for much less typically.

Astral Diamonds are a premium currency - they can be used to buy items from the Wondrous Bazaar, the Auction House, from certain vendors in the Seven Suns Coster Market, or to buy Zen via the Astral Diamond Exchange.

Since almost all items bought from the above places have a gold value, you can sell the items you buy for gold, thus converting those ADs into gold, (though I don't really know why you'd want to).
